Great place to stay, located at the base of Blackcomb. Village Stroll is right
behind the hotel and the rental shop is right next door. All in all a very
convenient option plus 4 star accommodations.

The hotel is located right at the slopes. It's very cozy and beautiful, service
is great, all for a very reasonable price! highly recommended!

Steps from the lifts and great staff.
Not exactly sure why they call it a boutique hotel as the decor isn't terribly
modern or unique. Perhaps just a small step above your Westin's, Fairmont's,
etc. The rooms are spacious and quiet. Windows open and some units have little
balconies. Kitchenette in our room with the usual amenities. The beds are pretty
comfortable. Aveda toiletries provided. Wifi coverage was good in our corner
unit.
Front desk staff are great and the best sushi restaurant in the Village is
downstairs. Far enough away from the main bars and soundproofed enough that late
night rowdiness shouldn't disturb you.

1 night to look at Whistler out of season.
Nice welcome, friendly receptionist who gave map & dining recommendation.
Room massive, well appointed, & with kitchen with outdoor hot tub.
Nothing adverse to say except parking (secure) probably more expensive than
public (slightly less secure) parking in same place next door.
No food within hotel.
Wi-Fi worked but not fully for mobile..

We came up to Whistler for just a quick getaway and found a great rate with
Sundial at $119 per night. It was such a steal for the room that we got. We got
a large 1 bedroom suite that was close to 750 sq ft and was nicely laid out. The
living room felt very home-y and the kitchen was well stocked. Our bedroom was a
good size and had a Jacuzzi tub in the room as well, which we took full
advantage of! The best part of the suite was the heated floors in the bathroom!
My only complaint about the room itself was the television screen in the bedroom
is much too small to watch anything from the bed, but we used the one in the
living room anyways.
If we could get a good rate next time, we would love to stay here again!

We stayed at Sundial for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. We had 5 adults and a
child and got a 2 bedroom suite with a living area and kitchen. There was plenty
of room for all of us...not at all cramped. We cooked 1 night and loved that the
kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The room was very clean
and comfortable. We chose this hotel because of the great reviews and also its
central location to the village and the gondolas/lifts. I HIGHLY recommend this
hotel. You won't regret it.

Really great place to stay, just around the corner from the mountain, shopping
and dining. Rooms very nice and equipped, we were party of 8 and we were very
comfortable, my 3 years old baby was the happiest of all. I absolutely will
visit it again

Parents and 2 teenage sons spent 3 nights in a 2 bedroom unit that was
beautiful. The full kitchen was great for pop, pizzas & reheating leftovers.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was relaxed.
Parking is VERY limited throughout Whistler. We arrived at 10 pm on a Saturday
night and all of the Sundial reserved spots were occupied. After a long search
we were finally given a pass to park in another hotel's lot. Except for parking
the Sundial is a 5. We had a great experience and would definately recommend
this hotel. A great value.

This was by far the nicest hotel of the four we used in B.C. The two bedroom
suite we stayed in was clean and had down comforters. The kitchen was well
stocked for cooking, and the kids were very excited that there were televisions
in both bedrooms and the living room. The view from the windows of the mountain
was great; we even saw a bear crisscross it one night. Finally, the location
within Whistler Village was perfect. The only complaint I had was that the water
pressure in the shower was less than desirable. Otherwise, this would definitely
have been a 5.

We stayed at the Sundial boutique for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon. Our
suite was fantastic with great views over the Blackcomb mountain. The rooms were
well appointed and modern. You could hear the bars a little in the evening but
not enough to disturb us. We didn't use the hotel's facilities during our stay
(restaurant, bar, hot tub). A great stay and we would return.

We chose this property because of the excellent ratings. We found that the two
room suites were perfect. I recommend booking early enough to get your own spa.
The roof-top unit is inconvenient. If you like to check your own skis, consider
the Pan Pacific Mountainside- half of our group stayed there and we will as well
in the future.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Sundial Hotel during our tour of the Rockies. We
found the reception staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful at check-in. We
had a one-bedroom suite, with sofa-bed for the boys in the lounge. There was a
small kitchen area with large fridge, oven and dishwasher. We had a small
balcony which looked out over the gondola, the boys enjoyed watching the
mountain bikers. The suite was comfortable and clean, and reasonably spacious.
We were glad of the A/C in the lounge as it was very hot during our stay - the
reception staff advised us to close all the curtains and leave the A/c on during
the day, and that certainly worked - could have done with A/c in the bedroom
too. We were there over a busy weekend, and it was a little noisy on the
Saturday night, but I guess that's inevitable in a busy resort. It's a short
walk to the base of Blackcomb Mountain where there are various kids activities
including putting and a luge. We found there were less queues for the chair-lift
(compared with the gondola at the base of Whistler Mountain), and at the top,
you can take a free bus to the glacier/ski area. Then back for the peak-to-peak
gondola (from Blackcomb to Whistler mountain) - amazing! All shops were close
by, and great to be able to have breakfast in our suite and cook the odd meal.
There was also free wifi which was great. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and
would recommend. Just wish it had a pool!

We were lucky to get a great suite on the 8th floor with our own (huge) private
deck and hot tub. Gorgeous views, great location, large and comfortable
accommodations. Nice bathroom. Right at base of Whistler lifts. We stayed for
three nights and were very happy here.

We stay in a two bedroom suite with a hot tub in the balcony. The view of the
whistler and Blackcomb mountains is amazing! The staff in the front desk is very
helpful. We are able to get early check in and that is great because we have a
lot of baby stuff. We have our first meal in The Old Spaghetti Factory. Food is
just average but the service is very good! For the dinner, we try the Japanese
restaurant "Sushi Village" which located inside the hotel. I wonder why it can
rank no.1 restaurant in Whistler. The staff there are so impolite, bad food and
the place looks very dirty. I will never go there again.

I travelled to Canada last year to visit a friend who lives in Vancouver. It was
my first time in the country and we had planned lots of activities.
My visit to Whistler was what I was looking forward to the most.
We arrived in Whistler early evening on a Friday, we arrived at the hotel and
were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist who could not have been more
helpful.
We are also very delighted to find we had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite,
Room 402.
We were very impressed with the size of the room. Very spacious living room,
full kitchen with dishwasher and 2 large bedrooms and a gorgeous walk in shower
with heated floor.
We had the most amazing view over both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountain Gondolas.
We were right in the heart of Whistler.
We had our first meal at Monks Grill, good food, but out of the way and not busy
at all...
We headed back to hotel, on route we found The Longhorn bar, opposite our hotel.
The staff were very friendly and atmosphere was fantastic. We had a few beers
then headed off to the hotel for an early night.
We were not disturbed by the noise from the street/bar below.
We had the most amazing day/night on the Saturday and checked out Sunday with a
hangover from hell.
We returned to Whistler the following weekend, but could not get booked into the
Sundial, full... Had to stay in a far less superior apartment, not a patch on
Sundial.
I would highly recommend the Sundial and would happily stay there next time I
visit.

We visit and stay in Whistler 3 or 4 times a year and have stayed at various
Whistler hotels. This hotel is the best so far! We had family visiting from the
UK and spent the night in a 2 bedroom suite. Upon check-in we where told the
roof top hot tub was out of order and were offered an upgrade to a 2 bedroom
suite with balcony hot tub. Enjoyed a spacious suite with full kitchen and
balcony. Roof top hot tub was fixed and ended up enjoying hot tubbing with
gorgeous mountain views.
We had an activity booked on the morning of check-out and the hotel was very
accommodating, allowing us to extend our check-out time by an hour and a half.
Overall an excellent hotel, great location right at the base of Whistler
Mountain. We would definitely recommend and stay at the Sundial again.

We booked this accommodation, having chosen it from good reviews. We were very
happy with our choice. We had a "mountain view" apartment which was well
equipped with kitchen and separate living room and extremely spacious to boot.
The kitchen comes complete with dishwasher, oven and microwave. There is a
supermarket in the town to get your food if you want to cook yourself. The
bedroom is comfortable and well maintained.
I concur with the reviewer who says "more like borrowing a friends place rather
than a swanky hotel room". To be clear, this is what is on offer here, it is not
a hotel, but a really upmarket self catering suite. Our room overlooked the
gondolas, and was right in the restaurant and shop area. We were on the third
floor, if you could get a higher up room, then it would be even better. Noise
was not a problem at all. We really loved our two nights here in May
There is a rooftop hot tub, which as someone said, you could only appreciate the
views by standing on a chair, but nevertheless it was a pleasant place to relax.
Apart from that, the Sundial does not offer any other facilities - it is not a
full "hotel", but offers really nice rooms and represents fantastic value for
money.
Parking can be expensive if you use their garage. We asked at reception, and
they told us which of the free public car parks one can use for overnight
parking. It is a bit of a walk to leave your car at the free carpark, but you
save $20 per day.
