We stayed a couple of winter nights at Edgewater with our 4 legged best friend.
The room was warm and cozy with an excellent view of the frozen lake and ski
hills. The food was delicious and quite unique. Local hiking/snowshoeing is
great for early morning dog walks.

My husband and I were married here in September 2011 and it was just perfect! I
honestly could not think of a more beautiful place to have a wedding. A weekend
wedding requires all 12 rooms to be booked but this allows for a great weekend
with all your friends and family. The day before the wedding we held a rehearsal
BBQ at the Activity Centre on the Edgewater grounds. This was a great way for us
to spend more time with our guests. Unfortunately a fire ban did not allow for a
campfire but everything else was great. The setting was picturesque, the staff
were extremely accommodating and the food was delicious! During the reception
everyone's meal was served quickly with good sized portions and the food was
hot. Every room has a lake view and even the continental breakfast was above
average. My guests are still commenting how much they enjoyed their stay here.
My husband and I plan on returning for our anniversary! I would definitely
recommend having a wedding here!Guests Review about the Edgewater Lodge at Whistler

We stayed for couple nights at the Edgewater Lodge and Restaurant and had a
wonderful time. Too short for sure. The location is excellent, close enough to
all the action in Whistler. Food at the restaurant was wonderful. We rather have
gourmet dinners where we are staying instead of trying out luck in town. We were
very pleased with the food. In short, the Edgewater Lodge and Restaurant is a
great place to stay when visiting Whistler. Thanks.

Edgewater Lodge is a small place, around 10 or 12 rooms. The location is to die
for, in a small peninsula on a gorgeous Lake, facing Whistler and Blackcomb
mountains. All rooms have breathtaking views.
Do not expect a casino on site. Expect deep silence at night, and beauty all day
long. You will need a car, as the hotel is outside the town, but if you do have
one, I cannot imagine a better place to stay (unless you are looking for a
casino, of course).

This venue was fantastic for our wedding. All our guests were amazed at the
sheer beauty of this lodge. Around the wedding we stayed up there just as lodge
guests and had a wonderful time. The breakfast included is amazing and a great
way to spend time with the people you are travelling with if you are in a large
group. I have nothing but good things to say about our time at the lodge. It is
so peaceful and beautiful you can't go wrong.

Although the rooms are quite nice, especially the large and elegant
bathroom/showers, you the view and grounds of the edgewater lodge are
pronominal. I would also suggest trying the restaurant.
The room I stayed in had two parts with a door between them, in addition to the
very large an comfortable bed there were also two fold out couches which allowed
us to let friends stay with us comfortably for a night. The rooms were perfectly
clean and neat clean without that chemical smell one sometimes has at hotels.
The complimentary teas in the room were very much appreciated.
The complimentary breakfast consisted of a very wide variety of fresh baked
breads and pastrys which seemed almost hand made and were very high quality as
well as fruit, granola, coffee, tea, juice etc.
