Whistler was fabulous and we had a great time but if you go in Winter make sure you are prepared for the price. It is expensive up at Whistler but is an amazing place to visit. The great thing about this property is that they do provide a nice breakfast and they also have a great pool and hot tub (2) area. We stayed in a spacious Bachelor suite that friends of our own which is bigger than most. Coast Hotel Whistler Blackcomb is definitely a great place stay as well if you ski as it is a ski in and out resort on Blackcomb Mountain. Make sure you do the Peak 2 Peak Gondola.

We had a fantastic stay at the Coast Hotel in Whistler. The room was perfect and clean. The complimentary buffet breakfast is filling and expansive---toast, waffles, eggs, sausages...delicious! There are two great hot tubs as well as a heated outdoor pool.

Being able to access the slopes was easy and it was nice being able to ski in and ski out. I would highly recommend the Coast Hotel in Whistler-Blackcomb and intend to be back again soon. Great rates and great service

Highlights at the Coast Hotel Whistler Blackcomb were great breakfast, lovely rooms and good location (ski in/out)! Staff was helpful. We got a last minute deal that made it a very good value for us.

I can't compare this to other Whistler hotels in the area as I haven't stayed at any others. But I would definitely chose this hotel again/. The location of the Coast Hotel Blackcomb is fantastic, so close the the slopes that "horrible" kids can aim snowballs from the chair lifts for direct hits into the fantastic hot tubs, but this only added to the friendly/holiday atmosphere! You can walk to both Blackcomb and whistler villages (5 mins apart) from the hotel. It takes a maximum 10 mins to walk to Blackcomb and the best Apres Bar in town "Merlins" in about 10 mins which is less time than it takes to get the shuttle bus but you have to walk down the ski slope, and as the snow can be very wet and mushy at this time of year it was sometimes better to get the shuttle (but that only runs every 30 mins after Easter Monday) unless you are wearing good waterproof boots. The hotel was clean and very quiet at nights. There is no bar in the hotel which may help on the noise front. The Breakfast is the same each day but is perfectly adequate and you can take a little extra bread and fruit to have on the mountain at lunch time saving a lot on money. The full kitchen consists of: Cooker, Microwave, fridge freezer. dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker and toaster. The staff are very helpful, and the ski hire and storage is located in the hotel. (You can only store skis - boots must be worn back and kept in your room). I would 100% recommend this Whistler hotel without hesitation.
