When the sun goes down, Whistler goes into full-tilt party mode
and it's time to party like a rock star. The nightlife in
Whistler has become almost as famous as the skiing and
snowboarding. There's a great reason for that, with everything
from world famous DJs to a vibrant live music scene, Whistler
has something for all ages and tastes.
The Village Lounge & Nightclub
Village Lounge & Nightclub is Whistler's newest venue for 2011
(located right beside Aritzia). Featuring an Urban Concept
design-based lounge upstairs, open from 3pm daily. Downstairs
opens every night from 930pm with impressive lighting &
projection displays, a finely tuned state-of-the art sound
system and a DJ booth crafted by the engineers at Red Bull. 4222

Buffalo Bill’s
A mix of mainstream hits along with much-loved classics will
keep you on the dance floor all night! Bill’s attracts a
slightly older crowd and features live bands on a regular basis
and DJs nightly. There are also pool tables and big-screen TVs.
Weekends are usually packed and Bill’s is a favourite for stags
and stagettes.

Tommy Africa’s
Tommy’s opened in 1988 and the dance floor has been full ever
since. Groove to a variety of beats including house, electro,
top 40, hip hop, rock, funk and the ever popular 80s retro
nights. Go-Go dancers will keep you inspired into the wee hours
and watch for the always fun theme nights – Halloween is
legendary. Hours are 9:30 pm to 2:00 am Monday through Saturday
and 9:30 pm to 1:00 am on Sunday.

Garfinkel’s
No trip to Whistler is complete without a night at Garf’s.
Between the live concerts and DJs, you will be busting a move
for hours. Thursday is locals’ night and Saturdays are always
jam packed. Keep an eye on the VIP tables for visiting
celebrities and A-listers.

Maxx Fish
Multi-level dance stages and infamous DJ Mat the Alien are well
worth the wait to get in. Acid jazz, hip hop, house, popular
dance and live bands all keep the party going.

Moe Joe’s
Follow the stairs down beneath Tapley’s Pub and enter the
glow-in-the-dark world of Moe Joe’s. Live music and hot DJs get
the dance floor rocking for young hipsters with hip hop, metal,
reggae, electro and mash ups. Doors open at 9:00 pm.

Après and Beyond
If you are a skier, snowboarder, mountain biker or golfer, you
already know that a vibrant après scene makes your outdoor
adventures that much better. Whistler is world-renowned for its
fabulous après featuring live music, drink specials, hearty food
and the camaraderie that comes with enjoying this mountain
paradise with others.
The Garibaldi Lift Company
Located slopeside, right at the base of Whistler Mountain in the
Village, the GLC has a large, heated outdoor patio that's
perfect for people-watching. In the winter, the patio is the
perfect place to watch the Sunday evening Fire & Ice Show where
skiers and snowboarders fly through dazzling rings of fire.
The Longhorn Saloon
A Whistler institution for more than 25 years, the Longhorn sits
right at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains in the
Village (right across from the GLC). The atmosphere is casual
with a mix of locals and visitors; lots of storytelling happens
on the sun-filled patio.
Merlins
Blackcomb Mountain's best party always starts at Merlins. Head
over to the Upper Village and right at the base of the Wizard
Express chairlift is where you'll find live music, bar-top
dancing, a gondola DJ booth suspended from the ceiling and a
large, laid-back and sunny patio. A local's favourite, kids are
allowed until 7:00 pm.
Dusty's Bar & BBQ
Whistler's original watering hole has been serving locals and
visitors alike in Whistler Creekside since the early days of
1965. This slopeside, classic western ski lodge has wood-beamed
ceilings, a pool table and a cozy fireplace. Something's always
going on whether it's live music, interactive trivia games or
professional sports on the big-screen.
Black's Pub
At only steps away from both Blackcomb and Whistler Mountain
gondolas, Black's is the ideal family spot for après. The patio
is sunny with unparalleled views and the bar offers 99 different
beers from around the world and Whistler's largest selection of
whiskeys with more than 40 varieties.
Dubh Linn Gate Pub
For a taste of Ireland in Whistler head to Dubh Linn Gate
located inside the Pan Pacific Mountainside Hotel. This
authentic Irish pub serves a perfect pint along with après
favourites like classic Irish stew, steak and Guinness pie and
BC halibut and chips.
The Mallard Lounge and Terrace
Two roaring fire pits on the terrace make this a warm and
inviting place to après. Located in the Fairmont Chateau
Whistler in the Upper Village, the Mallard is relaxing and cozy
with leather sofas, famous martinis and live entertainment.
Fifty Two 80 Bar
Named for the vertical on Blackcomb Mountain, this upscale
lounge is located inside the Four Seasons Resort in the Upper
Village. The chairs are plush, the martinis are creative, the
menu is sophisticated.

Brandy's at the Keg
Catch your favourite sports event on one of Brandy's 15 large
HDTVs or just sit back and chill with your friends and
Whistler's locals in this cozy upscale lounge attached to The
Keg. During the summer and winter, a DJ spins on Friday and
Saturday nights. Try the Billy Miner Pie, an exquisite
combination of mocha ice cream, hot fudge, caramel and sliced
almonds, to satisfy the late night munchies. It's a Brandy's
tradition.

The Champagne Lounge
Whistler's own piano man, Cameron Chu, tickles the ivories with
classics and smooth rolling favourites at this stylish lounge
inside the award-winning Barefoot Bistro. The pewter bar
features an ice rail that keeps your drink cool.

Cinnamon Bear Bar
Voted Whistler's best spot to play pool, the Cinnamon Bear Bar
is tucked inside the Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa. With comfy
leather chairs and a cozy fireplace, it's the perfect place to

screens, interactive games and a summer sun-soaked patio will
keep you coming back.

The Crystal Lounge
Whistler's best daily drink specials, 35 cent wings until 6:00
pm, and 9 large HDTVs for all your sporting action makes this
laid-back lounge a favourite amongst Whistler locals. Located
inside the Crystal Lodge and next to the Old Spaghetti Factory,
The Crystal Lounge features Jam Session Sundays, Tuesday night
Karaoke, and live music most nights of the week.

The Attic
This bar is upstairs at 21 Steps restaurant and has comfy
leather chairs and a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy a drink and a
chat with friends. Open daily, 6:00 pm to midnight.
St. Andrews House, right in Whistler Village.
The Mix Lounge
For a great mix of cocktails, wine, friends and good
conversation, head to the Crystal Lodge and the funky Mix
Lounge. The patio has a retractable roof.

FireRock Lounge
River rocks, log ends and hickory sticks make this
quintessential mountain lounge cozy and intimate. Located inside
the Westin Resort & Spa, the low leather couches and dim
lighting will keep you chill all night. There’s a large patio
with an outdoor fireplace to look at the stars and live jazz
plays one night a week, usually on Thursday.
