We stayed in a two room apartment which was very spacious and welcoming.
The rooms were very well appointed with very comfortable beds - so a
good nights rest was very easy especially after a day on the slopes!
Great location - you can rent ski equipment on the ground floor and
store equipment with the valet service. The lifts and meeting point for
the ski school is a little over a stone's throw away. We used the room
service, which was very good and prompt. Staff were very attentive and
when we had a problem with a room key they were onto the problem
straight away and very apologetic. Would love to go back there again and
have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone. It made our
experience at Whistler even better.

I've stayed at this hotel many times since it opened. They used to
charge a flat resort fee, but have recently done away with this in
favour of charging a-la-carte.
We only stayed for one night on a last minute deal. The room was about
$200 after taxes. However, valet parking is $32 and ski valet is $6 per
pair of skies. They do not allow you to have skies in your room, so this
is pretty much a mandatory charge unless you leave your skies in the car
and self-park. For some reason, we were never charged the ski valet, but
still...
The room was recently renovated and very nice overall. The location is
also excellent for access to the gondolas. However, beware of all the
extra charges!!
One tip: if you have to check out, but still want to ski, you can leave
your bags with the bellhops and use the fitness facilities to change
afterwards.

I just wanted to commend The Whistler Westin Resort and Spa for such superb
service, it made all the difference in the world! We stayed at the Westin for 2
nights in October for a National Teachers Math Conference and I could not have
been more pleased with the hotel and fabulous staff. We had the opportunity to
stay in the newly renovated junior suite 750.
The Westin was amazing with service to match! My husband and I have stayed at
many Sheridan's and Westin's as my sister works with the company and we enjoy
the perks! We have stayed at many different locations from Saskatoon to several
in the United States. I have to say the Westin Resort and Spa's service
definitely was over and above any of our expectations. They met all of our
needs, from a late check in to a even later check out. We went to dinner at the
Aubergine Grill. I highly recommend it! The food was beautiful and the Chef came
out to meet us and ask us how our meal was. The food was delicious!
Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

My husband and 15 year old daughter stayed for 2 nights for a mini "staycation"
We love travelling to Whistler since we are hosting the 2010 Olympics the road
has been improved making the road trip more enjoyable. If you are travelling up
there, remember to leave time for road construction. The weather is mountain
weather, so its quite unpredictable, we didn't get any pool time as it was
raining and quite chilly when the sun wasn't out. The hotel is great, check in
and check out was fast. If you don't charge anything to your room past 2am check
out day your final bill will be correct and they slip it under your door that
night. Room service is expensive, so we ate along the village strip. Food is
expensive at Whistler, but still higher in the hotel. Breakfast delivered is
$25.00 so for a family of 3.........you get the picture. There is a sushi
restaurant in the hotel which is very good, but there are a few more in the
village. The village is a great place to people watch and you are bound to see
some celebs up there. Sit and have a cold corona and nachos it is something.
Dogs are welcome in Whistler and at the Westin. Rules are - not to leave them
alone in the room, but if you need, someone will come and look in on them if you
ask. They have great service and will do anything to make you happy! We took our
dog out with us most of the time. The village strip has doggy poop bags avail
for you. Most restaurants let you hang with them on the patios too. The room we
had was a 1 bedroom suite, have included some pictures. Really comfortable room,
bed was dreamy. Balcony is small, but when its sunny, nice to sit out there and
have a glass of wine. Kitchen if fully stocked with dishes etc and they have a
coffee maker with starbucks coffee for you. They also have to-go cups so you can
make your java and head out with it! Nice touch. Goodies in the room are
expensive so we brought our own snacks and refreshments. Gummy bear pack is
$9.00 Ouch! Water bottle is $5.00 Ouch. TV has loads of movies $15.00 each, and
all the Vancouver TV channels. Hotel spa is very nice, my daughter and I had our
eyebrows waxed, very professional. The pool area is small, but there is an
indoor hot tub and outdoor, loads of workout equipment too. The hotel is located
on the hill and you can walk out into the back of the village. Head over to the
Irish pub for lunch and a Guinness, its a great little place and you can bring
the kids in up until 730pm. We ate dinner at the Mix, which was really great,
warm goat cheese and beet salad, got to have it. We had a great "staycation" at
the Westin.
