Located high up on the Blackcomb mountain, this is a really nice hotel complete with ski out access. With no snow on the ground, its an easy walk down to the village underneath the ski lift. The bed was comfy, room big enough for the entire family, and the pool/hot tub area really nice. Overall very clean and pet friendly too.

No restaurant anywhere near here, so if you are hungry you need to buy something from the tiny store to microwave or go to the village.

wasn't expecting so many kids which took over the place. in the pool, the hot tub, just everywhere. traveling with another couple who were also taken back by this. my daughters are all grown and we like to have fun too, but when you can't get near the pool or hot tub it's not relaxing for us. the breakfast was very good and the shuttle into town brought us back right in front of the hotel. i asked for our room to be ready for 3pm and were there at 3pm, but it was not ready until 4pm. the front of the hotel is impressive, but the inside needs updating. maybe the children ran it down.

There was very little wait to check in when we arrived. We were a little confused about how to walk back to the village (as we took the shuttle/bus up there) and the staff were very thorough on explaining directions. It's less than a 10 minute walk away.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced. The complimentary breakfast was excellent!

Will definitely recommend to others and we hope to return soon.

Booked a Family Whistler Getaway package on the long weekend and it was a great value considering when we booked. We got a studio room that was completely comfortable - clean, neat, well laid out with a nice kitchen and bathroom with a great shower, a queen bed, couch, chair, flat screen tv, balcony, fireplace, and nice high ceilings. Room was also surprisingly odor free (given that dogs are frequent guests of this property) and quiet for the most part. Room overlooked the front entrance and we did hear noisy people checking out early. Also received a welcome basket filled with grocery goodies like spaghetti, sauce, chips and salsa, cookies, chocolate, popcorn, and crackers. Parking was included and though we didn't have a pet, the pet fee was also waived in this package if we did.

Staff did charge us $15 for parking, when it was included in our package, and our wake up call was not carried out, but when we raised this with the staff, they did apologize for both incidents at least and removed the charge and offered us a late checkout. Had a problem with our tv too, but a staff member promptly came up to fix it for us.

Breakfast was busy and full of KIDS so be prepared for that and having to wait for a table. But breakfast was good and plentiful and included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh sliced tomatoes, whole strawberries, muffins, bread, pastries, yogurt, hot oatmeal, cold cereals, make-your-own waffles with strawberries and whipped cream, apples, bananas, nectarines, juices, milk, coffee and tea. Lots of items to satisfy anyone's tastes.

Location is a little remote, but complimentary shuttle to/from the village is awesome, and the walk down Blackcomb to the upper village and Whistler is enjoyable and maybe 15 min or so.

Didn't use pool area, but water was warm and it looked inviting, if you don't mind kids. Note: this is a family and dog hotel! Robes were also provided in the room for guests.

Lobby has a guest computer and printer to use and on the day of checkout, the hotel allows you to park until 6 pm if you wish to stay and take in other actives before you actually leave - very helpful.

My wife won a prize package that included a 3 night stay at this hotel. At the hotel recommendation, we opted to upgrade the 3 night stay to a 2 night stay in a 1bedroom suite with "fantastic mountain view". After a check-in delay seemingly caused by being fully booked night before, we arrived in our room to find far less than any reasonable view, unless you liked tree trunks. I went to front desk and wth capable assist of front desk clerk "Nikki", was able to secure another room, only 1 floor higher but at least with some sort of the promised view. Nikki provided very professional service and to recognize some issues we had encountered, waived the parking fee. This hotel appears to be a converted condo project and is located well away from Whistler Village itself. In fact well away from any amenities. In summer you can opt to walk down the adjoining ski slope (which we did ) or take free shuttle. The suite offered full kitchen faculties and was of average condition, but quite clean. There is no air conditioning in the rooms which may be OK for winter visitors, but not so great in warmer weather. At least evenings cool off and with windows open room is comfortable to sleep in. This hotel appears to be moderately priced and for an extra fee, also allows pets, which coupled with daily free breakfast (which is a highlight of the hotel in my view), provides reasonable value for family stays. The pool is undersized for the number of guests, but the 2 hot tubs provide a relaxing opportunity at end of the day, once the crowds have vacated the area. Although we did enjoy our stay overall, I would not likely stay here again, primarily because of distance from the Village where majority of our time is spent. Access is not overly difficult, just inconvenient. However, I can see this as a good family place to stay, particularly in Winter with ski in and out privileges. In that respect, can't beat the location for that.
