Guests Review about the Edgewater Lodge at Whistler

Although the rooms are quite nice, especially the large and elegant
bathroom/showers, you the view and grounds of the edgewater lodge are
pronominal. I would also suggest trying the restaurant.
The room I stayed in had two parts with a door between them, in addition to the
very large an comfortable bed there were also two fold out couches which allowed
us to let friends stay with us comfortably for a night. The rooms were perfectly
clean and neat clean without that chemical smell one sometimes has at hotels.
The complimentary teas in the room were very much appreciated.
The complimentary breakfast consisted of a very wide variety of fresh baked
breads and pastrys which seemed almost hand made and were very high quality as
well as fruit, granola, coffee, tea, juice etc.

Loved it, so my brother booked a room for following weekend to go skiing on our
recommendation.

The rooms are comfortable and clean though not 5 star - but I didn't expect or
want that. very comfortable, very roomy and great value. top that off with
friendly, accommodating and unpretentious service with genuine interest about
the people, and that made a fantastic stay. it is a little away from the Village
[great by me] so quiet. This placed delivers far above its price.

The lodge is clean and well kept with the best scenic views available in
Whistler. You're on the lake front away from the clutter and noise of the
village. Big pictures windows and a spacious deck provide awesome views. The
lake side hot tub was decent, again with great views. The restaurant was very
good with great service and fantastic food. The venison osso bucco was great but
the creme Brule is the best around. We will certainly be back.

We booked the Edgewater Lodge in January. We got a pet friendly room. We were
pleasantly surprised when we got there that they had given us a complimentary
upgrade to a larger room with a separate sitting room. The view into Green Lake
was spectacular. I'm sure the view would be even better during the summer. It is
located right next to the lake in a very quiet and secluded area. The lady
working at the reception was very friendly, courteous and helpful. The
complimentary continental breakfast they provided was also good. It consisted of
a good selection of juices, pastries, hard boiled eggs and fruit. The only
drawback about this hotel is that it is not walking distance to the village. It
is about a 5 minute drive away. Would definitely recommend.
