Just finished 5 day stay for skiing at the WVI in Whistler and highly
recommend the place. Staff extremely helpful and polite; clean, well
appointed rooms. There are two buildings, the Keg Lodge and the Powder
Lodge (see photos). We were in the Powder. I prefer the Powder to the
Keg as it is the more intimate and like having your own private condo as
the WVI main desk is in the Keg Lodge. Also, the Powder's hot tub is
huge (approx 15 ft x 8 ft x 3ft), indoor and the workout room is right
next to it. The outdoor pool and outdoor hot tub is at the Keg Lodge,
which also houses the popular Keg Restaurant, of the Keg chain of
steakhouses. (Good restaurant, with a main floor bar/lounge that is a
popular apres-ski and post-dinner gathering spot). But the best thing
about the WVI is its central location, which is literally a snowball
throw from the base lifts for both Blackcomb and Whistler mountains;
less than a minute walk to Umberto's, the Trattatoria, the Dublin Inn,
and less than a block from other good restaurants, a grocery store and
ski rental shops. Starbucks and the movie theater are just behind the
Keg Lodge as are the Main Promenade and outdoor Central Court of
Whistler Village. By being one building removed from the promenade and
entrances to the shops, however, it is quiet. The parking is
underground. Suites have fireplaces (firelogs only), flat screens, DVD
players but no fireplace in the hotel style rooms. Cooking facilities in
the Suites are adequate (stove, refrig, microwave, dishwasher, etc),
though the rooms could use a few more wine glasses and cooking utensils.
You pay for Internet (wired or wireless), but the daily rate was about a
third of what I pay at most hotels that charge a daily rate; hourly and
week rate available. I looked at other facilities and this was the best
value I saw hands down. Definitely where we will stay our next visit.

Just returned from our great trip to whistler. It was a family of four
trip. The room was good size, however we were told we were getting a two
bath, however there was only one. This problem was the fault of
booking.com. The staff was nice and the issue was resolved without a
problem. We would stay there anytime. Thanks for the great memories.

We chose this hotel for its good price and excellent location. We were right in
the middle of all the action in Whistler. The room was clean and very cosy, but
a little stuffy. Overall though it was great value.

Delta suites were an absolute joy to be in. We had a great discount due to the
package we bought so it was a fantastic deal.
The rooms are immaculate, small apartment-styled with new furnishings, luxurious
bedding, new bathrooms and the room we stayed in had a fully equipped kitchen.
The maids are super nice and all greet you with a smile as you walk down the
hallways. Sheets are changed everyday, they always ask if you need towels. The
swimming pool/spa and gym are fantastic.
It felt like being right at home but right in the midst of Whistler, only a 10
minute walk to the ski lifts.
Unfortunately you do have to pay for wifi, and the restaurant in the hotel is a
bit pricey.
Absolutely recommend this place to anyone if you're looking for affordable
luxury in Whistler.

My girlfriend and I we stayed at the Delta Suites in Whistler in November. Since
this isnt a super busy time (because the mountains weren't open yet) the village
was pretty quiet and we got an amazing deal. We had a huge suite with a king bed
and a pullout and a full kitchen for next to nothing, it was clean and spacious
and great The only problem was that when we were there they were renovating the
pool and health area so we had to go across the street if we wanted to do that.
The renovations are complete now and i`m sure it looks great so thats another
reason why I recommend this hotel. Its in a great location, right in the middle
of the village. The staff was excellent and so was the service. Overall i would
definitely recommend this hotel especially if you want to check out whistler not
during the high season of winter when its packed but you can get an amazing deal
if you go when the mountains arent open and you have an amazing place to go
around and check out beautiful Whistler.

We were in Whistler for the better part of a week in early October. If you want
to be near the base of the two ski hills, the location is fantastic, it's in the
heart of the village. We were disappointed with the room. The hotel is in dire
need of some upgrading and refurbishment. The photos on the website must have
been taken 20 years ago, when everything was brand new. Nothing that ruined our
vacation but it was a disappointment. If we had paid the regular prime season
rate it would have been extremely discouraging. The staff were always cordial
and very helpful when we had questions about the village or asked for
recommendations. In our opinion, it would have to be the location that one would
be after in order to stay here.

We stayed in a standard room in Whistler Village Inn and Suites during a cold
and rainy period in September. The rooms were warm and well insulated. Enjoyed
having a full kitchen with m/wave, stove and fridge/freezer. There was a large
sitting area with an LCD t.v. The only thing I didn't really take to was the
double bed which folded down from the wall. I've never been a fan of fold down
wall beds because the mattress is always cheap and average. No duvets provided,
only 2 blankets. CAD$12 / night for car parking was extremely reasonable (up to
$24 at other hotels in Whistler). We paid CAD$110 per night inclusive of taxes
and car park which was reasonable.

Spent one night at Whistler Village Inn & Suites and was very happy. Due to a
mixup on my part, I thought I had booked a one bedroom suite but had only booked
two queens for two couples. Chris at the front desk switched us to a suite with
no extra cost even though it was my fault. Really nice room with comfortable
beds and a kitchen.
Couple of cautions - Check in time is 4pm which caused us a bit of trouble as we
were there at 1pm and had come straight from camping. They let us shower in the
pool area which was ok.
None of this ruined our stay of course.

The steps in room are treacherous. Dark bathroom. I was amazed by the room in
the Powder Building. If that was the old building I can only imagine what the
new rooms looked like. The only drawback that I saw to this room were the
slippery, shallow stairs. My five year old fell down the stairs twice. A child
safety gate is a necessity if you have little ones. Overall a great experience.
