Warning the rooms are much smaller then they look on line however you get
exactly what you see. If you plan to go for an early morning walk you may want
to place your do not disturb sign on your door. We left around 0645 for a walk
with the dog and returned to our maid service cleaning our room. The down side
was we had not used our room as this was our first morning. One would not think
of the maid service cleaning on your first day stay before 0930am you would
think they would start with rooms that were checked out. Missed that feeling of
going out and coming back to a nice clean room after maid service. On top of
that the maid thought she would help and start the dish washer with only 4
glasses to clean. It turned out the dishwasher leaked all over the floor so had
to call maintance to repair. All and all it was in a good location if you want
to be close to the village. As for value we have heard others getting a much
better price so I would recommend shopping around or asking at the desk if they
could offer a better price. Also paying the additional $25 a night for our pet
was expensive my assumption was there would be a dog bowl for water and maybe a
cookie or 2 however there was nothing for the pet, a gund bear placed at the
bath tub if you wanted to buy at an expensive price. Another tip if you want a
late check out ask the front desk do not rely on the information in the book in
your room. We were going to ask for a late check out the book said $65 dollers
when I was leaving the clerk was on line to someone and she said not charge to
1130 or if you want to check out at 1pm that would be $35 dollers. The book says
$65 to 1130 go figure........Having the Kitchenette is great value if you enjoy
eating in your room.

Staff were great. Location is ideal, Price was right. Rooms (with kitchenette
and spa) were clean and well maintained. Couldn't have asked for me. Just wish
we had longer to stay

We decided on this hotel because of the location - so close to everything but we
were surprised by the great layout of the rooms for the cost. Really cosy bed &
lounge area, complete with sofas, flat screen TV & a fireplace! Great place to
stay - only down side was we were only there for 1 night :-( love to go back in

The service was excellent from the booking process all the way to check out. The
staff is very accommodating and friendly and helped with every thing we asked.
The rooms are a nice size, clean and have all the necessary amenities. Ours
included a jacuzzi tub, fireplace and kitchenette. We didn't use them all this
trip but hope to come back for a longer stay in the future. It's located close
to everything. The feeling for this hotel is warm and inviting. We will
definitely book there again.

We booked this hotel in the first place because it was "dog friendly". We had a
total of three rooms for a three day visit. The rooms very large and included a
full kitchen which although we didn't use much came in very handy for snacks and
breakfast for the children in our party. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the
beds very comfortable and the entire staff from the front desk to housekeeping
was very friendly and helpful.
The location of the hotel was perfect being on the edge of the village but just
out of reach of the party atmosphere noise that is sometimes Whistler.
Our entire party recommends this hotel without hesitation and we will visiting
it again for sure.

Found good deal for this hotel on Hotwire, stayed 4 nights for a conference.
They upgraded our room without us asking to include a jacuzzi and gave us 4
nights of free parking (much appreciated in Whistler!). Central location. Clean.
Nice service. Quality of furniture, beds, fixtures average. Free WiFi. Overall
great value for the money.

We spent two nights here & had an excellent stay. We had a fourth floor double
jacuzzi room with kitchenette. The room felt spacious although it was a little
odd that the jacuzzi was stuck in a corner in back of the bathroom, making it a
couple of feet away from the bed.
The two restaurants on the premises were very convenient & just around the
corner are several more, as well as a Starbucks & grocery store. The room had a
great view of the mountains, and was quiet since it was over the covered
entryway. There is a charge for parking in the garage, but there was a coupon on
Trip Advisor that gave you free parking - nice bonus for reading the entries
here.
We had an enjoyable stay & would return.

Other reviews have given a good description of this hotel, so I don't think
there is much I can add. There are 3 restaurants within 100 meters of the hotel.
We ate at the Elephant and the Castle which was across the road. Good food and
good prices. $15 plus tax for parking. We chose not to use the parking when we
arrived at 1400Hrs, and could not check in till 1600hrs, but should have as most
of the village is within walking distance. Staff were very helpful and pleasant,
room was of excellent quality although a little cramped. |
