The health club is nice. Room is clean. The wildflower restaurant offers
50% off special between 5-6pm. The food is great.

The staff were very courteous and customer-service oriented making for a
hassle free stay. Had our dinners at The Wildflower restaurant and the
food was great. During our stay, they had dinner specials which were
very economical for the quality of food we got.

I have to agree with Kimperly the hotel has a tired feel, especially the
furniture in the bedrooms which has the finish worn off them, the old
fashioned tub shower combination etc. ( Having said that, the staff were
exemplary. The worst was charging $14.95 a day for internet ! now that's
bad, in this day and age when even the lowest of motels include it for
free and I can't remember when I last had to pay for a connection. We
did however enjoy an excellent meal in the Wildflower on one of their
50% of nights and later a 2 for 1 in the Wine room which was also
excellent although slightly marred by the main course being luke warm.
The basement has a cafeteria style sandwich and pizza place which is
very good .. it wouldn't take too much to update the place, it has the
wonderful location excellent staff but it is feeling tired..

I had a wonderful time with my children. The beds are incredibly
comfortable and the room was large. A lot of noise from the hallway,
though. And there was a glitch with my reservation so that we were
initially given the wrong room, which meant that the room we were given
was not set up for four (3 sets of towels and no bath robes at all.)
The service is very good and the pool and hot tub are wonderful.
The location is great if you are there for skiing but if you are there
for the Whistler atmosphere you would be better off staying in the
village.

Stayed for a week long conference, location was perfect, beds are
comfortable, rooms are dark and need more lighting especially in
bathroom, room service was excellent and everyone working at hotel are
eager to please and always service with a smile. Bars and restaurants
are wonderful. Enjoyable stay!

We have stayed here since the mid 90's. It never changes the service is
impeccable, the rooms are okay much better if you stay on the Gold
Floor(s) or even better the slope facing penthouse as we did one year!
Even if you don't stay at the Fairmont go to the Mallard bar for
cocktails one evening, sit back relax and enjoy the evening
entertainment. Wonderful! |
