We have just spent the past three weeks at the
Travelodge Victoria. The is about the fifth time we have
stayed here and every time we have been very happy with
the suite we have stayed in, the cleanliness, and how
helpful the staff was. Whether it was the front desk or
the cleaning attendants, they were very, very
accommodating. We are from the prairies, so the
closeness to the ocean never fails to amaze us. It is
hand to all amenities. The rooms are spacious and bright
and priced right. We have had other family come with us
and they have felt the same. See you in the Spring Judy

Travelodge is nothing fancy and is over a mile from the
city of Victoria. When we arrived in Victoria (5:00 pm),
we took a taxi to the hotel but, when we went into town,
we rode a bus that stops at the hotel two or three times
each day (no cost for the bus). The hotel serves a very
tasty breakfast at a reasonable cost. However, that is
the only meal served there. The nearest restaurant
(Denny's) is about 4 or 5 blocks away but it is within
walking distance. We rented a car the day after we
arrived. There is not a lot of parking in town (near
Parliament, Hotel Empress etc.) so, if you choose a
hotel hear this area, it would be best to walk. Overall,
the Travelodge was a nice place to stay, the staff were
very nice and very helpful.

We only stayed one night but had a very well equipped
room. Follow the Travelodge internet instructions on how
to find it and you can't go wrong. Large supermarket and
other shops five minutes drive north along Gorge St.
Ask for a quiet room along the side road to avoid the
bar music. Good service from front desk.

This review if for the 2 queen sized beds, with
kitchenette & 42" hdtv. This suite was recently
renovated and very clean. It was basic but spacious and
comfortable. The room also had a waterfront view.
Although it is not located downtown it is only a 5
minute drive and has shuttle service.

This summer we spent two nights in this hotel.
At the outside is does not look very good, but inside it
is OK. The rooms aren big and clean.
The hostess at the reception was very friendly and
helpful. She arranged several things for us in an
efficient and friendly way.
So, a good hotel and good rates.
