My wife and I travel to Victoria from up Island in Campbell River. We love the drive down , the bountiful vineyards and local farms. We usually stay right down town but decided we wanted a more peaceful retreat for just the two, of us. We had a gorgeous room, swam the outdoor pool several times and enjoyed a local Greek dinner at Il Grecos restaurant. A great lazy quiet weekend just cruising down town Victoria, her many shops and of course, our favorite, dim sum in Chinatown, cheers. Great time so thank you to the Ramada Team. We will be back at Christmas.

There is little I can say that would reflect poorly on this hotel. The front desk staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, energetic and wholly courteous. The facility and our room was very clean throughout.

My only complaint, and pretty insignificant, is that the wall hooks for the towels in the bathroom were coming out of the sheetrock. Not so much of a problem as an observation as there were many other places to hang our bath towels.

Food: We rented the kitchen studio to have breakfast and save money. There are two places to eat on site; Hecklers Sports Bar and Grill and a more upscale restaurant that we did not patronize so the name escapes me.

View: My husband did claim that the reservation boasted a view of the bay. Though our room did face south towards the bay, the only water it or any room could overlook is that of the swimming pool, as another building on an adjacent lot obstructs view of the bay.

Very affordable hotel in a pretty good area of the city. A short driving distance from downtown, and the Mayfair mall. Had a nice kitchenette area with full size fridge. Only thing that would have made the kitchenette better would have been an oven/stove, however they do provide hotplates. Place was clean. Air conditioning unit quite loud but only a problem on very hot days. Had a problem with our keycard, had to get it reactivated several times. Staff were very friendly and helpful to visitors. If you're looking to save a bit of cash, good value for the price.

It was a nice location and pretty close to the ferry terminal but right beside the hotel was a pub& grill and a liquor store.
one remote in our room was broken and also a window was broken, and the kitchen was nice.
I liked the bedding too.

Wow...haven't stayed here since it was a Days Inn. They have put a lot of changes into it and all in a good way. We arrived a little late and the girl at the desk made us reservations downtown for dinner then let the kids have a quick swim when we came back even though they had closed the pool for the night. The rooms smell like fresh carpet. The lobby restaurant has been completely redone and the breakfast was really good. Free parking is one of the best parts and it's only 5 minutes from downtown harbour area. The big red tour bus provides guest shuttle service throughout the day. Perfect place for kids and teams. They have some really good pre-paid rate specials if you call the hotel directly. Lower than online or they will match it.
