Guest Review of the Magnolia Hotel Victoria

We came up to Victoria to see the Opera and hit on a coldstreak!! The smell of
the hot apple cider in the lobby welcomed us right away. Everyone was friendly
and our room was great with a fireplace to keep warm! Dinner in the Prime was
beautifully served. Will bring my mom up and will stay again!! Thanks for a
great weekend!
Room Tip: ask the front desk for their recommendation, we loved our corner suite
with a view of the harbour

We were in Victoria for a convention and chose the Magnolia because we had heard
so many good things about it! We weren't disappointed. The room we stayed in had
a fantastic view of the parliament buildings, and was very spacious and clean.
Breakfast was included and was beyond our expectations for a continental
breakfast. Staff was also very helpful and friendly. Definitely would stay there
again.

Stayed here before the tourist season hit Victoria. Very nice hotel, spacious
rooms, good breakfast. Wifi seemed to have excessive latency, but only affected
us when we were trying to use VOIP app on phone. Otherwise, all services were
top-rate and friendly.

2nd year in a row my best friend and I stayed here while visiting beautiful
Victoria! The hotel is so clean, the rooms sparkling clean & big, the bathrooms
really, really nice...beds are soooo comfy, great room decor too....just
wonderful!! The staff is also great!
Yea you have to pay for valet service daily if you bring your car, but it's so
worth it!
You also get passes for free breakfast at their little buffet they have each
morning. yummm!
Just love it's not some huge, noisy, crowded hotel. Perfect location, close to
walk to everything in and near the downtown area!
We bring a car though across from the U.S. because we do some exploring
throughout Victoria to places that are too far to walk.
The rooms are pricey, but we book through the Magnolia website and go with the
30/30 rate that is non-refundable. Knocks price down by 30%....we paid $160 a
night and the regular rate a night was around $225 a night.
We will be returning to Victoria in Sept. 1012 and will DEFINITELY stay again at
the Magnolia!

Elegant, clean, comfortable and quiet in the heart of Victoria's Inner Harbour
area. Helpful and courteous front desk staff. The restaurant was nice and the
complimentary breakfast was light and perfect (toast products, cold cuts,
waffles, fruit, cereal, yogurt). I don't know what that bed was made of, but it
was sooooo comfortable. Spent two nights there on vacation in mid-September and
would stay there again anytime. |
