Staff was friendly. Room was on the second floor facing
Quebec Street. Nothing to see from the balcony. Street
was loud. Great little kitchenette. 4 burner stove and
24" oven. Bar fridge a little small when you had full
cooking facilities. Parking was included so a bonus. The
hotel piped 3 dvd movies on 3 channels in addition to
your cable choice. therefore no need for a movie bill on
your bill. Pool was closed so didn't even see it.
Breakfast included was continental with boiled eggs and
waffles included with regular pastries, toast bagels and
cereal.
2 queen beds. Room for 4.
Nothing stood out about this place. 2 blocks from
Capital buildings, 3 from the harbour and 6 or seven to
eat.
Clean OK Building is in good shape OK

This hotel made for a great choice in accommodations
while enjoying Victoria in December. We stayed on the
6th floor with a view of the harbor and Empress Hotel.
The room appeared to have been updated fairly recently,
and included a small kitchenette. The rooms were clean
and comfortable, the view great, and the location even
better, for a price that was outstanding. The employees
were friendly and helpful. The bed were very
comfortable, though the bed spread seemed a little odd
(satin-like); would have preferred more of a
duvet/comforter style. We would certainly go back for
another stay.

Our overnight stay was very comfortable. Great beds,
very clean and the breakfast room was pleasant and there
was a very good selection for breakfast. The bathroom
was adequate, though the hair dryer was broken, but I
greatly appreciated the free wireless, free covered
parking and free movies. The location was very good, I
would definitely stay there again and would make use of
the kitchenette facilities if I were staying longer.
Highly recommended for clean, comfortable and affordable
accommodation.

Great location, clean, great comfortable bed, wonderful
helpful staff.
Yes, Kirstein the desk clerk even helped me with my
'stalled' computer.
Also one block away from the Ferry, perfect for catching
9am getaway.
Wonderful spot for walking around in the evening.
Stay there you won't be disappointed. |
