The location of this hotel is very close to Chinatown, Bastion Square, shops on
the Government Street.....The staffs at the front desk are very nice and
accommodating.

I stayed here with some friends during a road trip over Labor Day Weekend. We
had a room with two king beds on the third floor. The hotel staff were wonderful
and friendly, and even pointed us in the right direction toward activities
(short walk to China Town). I was worried about the quality after looking at the
outside, but everything was clean, fresh, and worked. What more could you ask
for at this price? The biggest bonus was the free secured parking.
Two tips:
1) Don't forget your room key if you want ice.
2) check the exact name and address of your hotel... there are at least 3
Traveller's Inns on Douglas within 2 blocks of each other.

I stayed here on the way to the north of Vancouver Island as the Greyhound bus
services didn't run late enough for me to connect after I'd got into Victoria
from the ferry.
Whilst the hotel is technically in the downtown area it's still a fair walk from
the bus station and not great if you have lots of luggage with you. It's easy
enough to find though. The hotel is basic, rooms are fairly small with outdated
decor. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable but I was pretty
disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, try and find something closer to
the centre if you can.Review of the Travellers Inn Downtown Victoria

The price is the only reason I would stay there again. It was cheap, but the
quality was exactly that, cheap furniture and amenities.
Anyways, the hotel was cheap, that was the only thing going for it.

Nice clean hotel, walked to with bags from
cruise terminal (Clipper/ Star/ Express), easy walk. Near Chinatown,
restaurants, and shopping. Secure parking (did not use, but noted). Good Value,
Comfortable bed.

We went there to attend some hockey games at the SAV-ON Center. Wow, 1 block
away, great locale. And close to downtown!! We will book there again. While it
is not the Hilton, we went there expecting less and got more. Thanks for the
free wireless internet, the refrigerator and the covered parking. I’ve gotten
less and paid much more. Comfortable bed.

Only a block away from the Save-On-Foods Centre where I attended a concert. A 15
minute walk will get you almost everywhere within the core tourist area of
downtown Victoria. Helpful staff with information and suggestions. Couldn’t find
a more convenient location or a better price in Victoria. Convenient and good
value.

I travel to Victoria about 10 times a year and this hotel is my home away from
home. I have stayed in some pretty fancy hotels and I have never found staff so
friendly and accommodating as I have at this hotel. I always get a good night
sleep, the beds are comfortable, and above all every room I have stayed in here
is very clean.

We stayed here on a 3 week trip around British Columbia. This was definitely the
worst place we stayed. The whole trip we tried to stay in budget friendly
hotels/motels however if I returned I would splurge on anywhere else in
Victoria. We were right on the ground floor by the front parking which wouldn't
bother me if the window had a screen. However it was very stuffy and smelly in
our room when we got there and we couldn't leave the window open because anyone
going by could just hop in grab our stuff and hop out. It was a dark and musty
room that felt dirty and cooped up because we couldn't let any air in. Also we
had a room key that didn't work right and the following morning we got locked
out in the hall. If I had to stay here again I would ask for a room above ground
level at least. To add one positive comment it was walking distance to shops and
restaurants.

We were very impressed with this hotel: only 15 mins walk into Victoria with
excellent rooms and service. The rooms were large and well equipped and staff
always willing to help. I would definitely recommend. Free parking. Free
internet access in lobby and wireless in rooms.
