Very average for the price, Location farther from downtown than we anticipated but ample free parking a plus. Has an indoor pool with spa tub, an exercise room, and a self-service business center with high-speed Internet access. Guest laundry facilities, a beer and wine store in the parking lot and quite close to a large mall if shopping is an interest

We had a room with two Queen beds for our family of four. The room was very comfortably sized with nice Serta beds. Perhaps our late arrival around 10:30pm was a bit late, but the reception desk only had one person so check-in was a bit of a wait. This resulted in the clerk being very rushed (near the end of his shift). There is plenty of parking outside the hotel, including underground parking which is not well advertised. The swimming pool in the basement parking level is a bit odd but still nice for the family. The Shark Club Bar & Grill is attached adjacent to the hotel I was able to watch a hockey game.

Good location, very clean, family and dog-friendly; information and service needed was provided but they could have been a little friendlier (my only criticism) but I would go back there again because of the location and it was very clean. The bed was too soft and apparently there wasn’t a choice of a firm bed. The room was pretty small for the price.

Was on a part business, part leisure trip and stayed for 3 nights in a very nice suite with kitchen and sitting area. I was near the bar/restaurant and would imagine had the windows been open it might have been a bit noisy, but can't say it actually bothered me much given I'm usually up until the wee hours anyway. No complaints at all about the room except out of the 3 nights the internet connections (both wireless and cable) only worked the first day for a while. I needed that Internet working but to no avail.

The various desk staff I spoke with throughout my visit told me there was no internet was because the hotel just received a lot of guests (and I did manage to get a connection again about 2 AM the first night), the next day I was told it was because they were having technical issues with their server and it wouldn't be fixed for a day or two. Not much of a help to me so I had to check out even though I wanted to stay a couple of more days. I just had no faith they would get the Internet connections working after it being unreliable for 3 days already.

To be somewhat fair I will say they did offer to let me use their office connection, but since I had my dog with me, that arrangement wasn't too helpful as she would have been a distraction as people came and went in the lobby.

This was also the only hotel of many I stayed in this trip (2 weeks of hotels) that charged me long distance charges for calling toll free numbers. Even though I had specifically asked prior to calling any 800 numbers, at check out they would not bend and I had to pay for the calls.

So, hotel itself was clean and nice to stay in and located outside of downtown but still central, but not having that Internet for nearly the whole 3 days and being charged for long distance put a damper on it. I'm afraid not having Internet is the deal breaker for me.

I have been there 4 times for work, stayed for 2 weeks once, 1 week the other times.
The rooms are clean and normal. No good views, It's in a business area not near the waterfront so 15 minutes walk or a 5 minute bus ride - they have double-decker buses and they stop right outside the hotel, $2.25.
Great place to stay if you brought a car, secure underground parking, easy to find your way back to. There is a sports bar attached that has average food and service, lots of TVs, but all the good spots to eat or drink are downtown.
