I was very happy with the Ramada. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The
only complaint that I had was the heat would not turn off no matter how low I
set it. I used the air conditioner to compensate and was happy. I liked it and
would stay again. The price was good for what we got

First, it was very cheap compared to the other options in the area. The room was
in great shape and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff was very
friendly. It is rather far from downtown, but it is conveniently located next to
a bus stop for the 11 which takes you right to the center of Victoria ($2.50
each way). The bus comes pretty frequently, so even though we didn't have a car
it worked well. The only negative we had, was that there was absolutely no hot
water in the shower in the morning! I will give them the benefit of the doubt
and assume that this is abnormal experience, but it was a definite negative on
our stay.

We returned to the Ramada Victoria recently - we stayed here last time we were
in Victoria and received such great hospitality that we couldn't think of
staying anywhere else when we returned! - when we checked in we found out that
Flavour Restaurant has recently had a fire in the kitchen. So disappointing! We
were looking forward to another great meal from the Chef. Not to worry though,
the staff have everything under perfect control. Other than a slight smoke smell
in the lobby the hotel seems to be otherwise unaffected by this unfortunate
event. The rooms are immaculate and the beds as comfy as ever. The staff - front
desk and housekeeping - are fantastic. Smiles and greetings from everyone. Thank
you so much for your hospitality. We look forward to visiting again in 2012.

Stayed at the hotel the night of the fire and i do have to say the staff did an
amazing job through out all the commotion. They accommodated me and were very
sorry for the late night and all. The staff was so amazing when checking in they
were cheerful and very helpful. Rooms were very clean housekeeping staff were
very friendly. I like that the hotel is so close to the bus stop going into
town. The pub downstairs had great food was very impressed. Very much enjoyed my
stay there and cant wait to return. Thank you to the staff that made my stay so
full of enjoyment.

I had a great stay here last week. Caroline at the front desk was very gracious
in checking me in and helping with directions. She certainly helps you feel good
about your choice to stay here. The balconies are a nice touch too. I won't say
they've got a great view but it's just nice to be able to get some fresh air. My
room was a good size and the bed super comfy. I slept great. There's ample
parking, both above and underground. It's a quick 2 or 3 Km into the city so
drive it in minutes or walk in 20 either works. Remember the price point of this
hotel and you can be very happy with your stay. I would stay here again.

It is rated as a 2 star but I think it should be labeled as a 3 star. The Hotel
was very clean and the staff were wonderful. I paid through priceline and got it
for a smoking $40 bucks. It is a drive to the City but if one wanted a brisk
walk it could be done. I would recommend staying here to everyone.
