The
Butchart Gardens offers 55 acres of wonderful floral display located in Greater
Victoria on Vancouver Island. The still owned by family descendants commitment
to horticulture and hospitality continues to this day.
The Butchart Gardens has been designed to attract year round spring,
summer, fall and Winter or the pleasures of the Magic of Christmas where
the gaiety of Christmas lights and decorations feature the Twelve Days of
Christmas and the happy sounds of ice skaters.
The Dining Room Restaurant, The Blue Poppy Restaurant, coffee shop and
seasonal outlets are within The Gardens so admission to The Gardens is
necessary.

Open every day of the year at 9 a.m.
Christmas day open at 1 p.m.

The Butchart Gardens is located on Vancouver Island, 23 km (14 miles) north of
Victoria, and 20 km (12.5 miles) south of the Vancouver-Victoria ferry terminal
