I arrived this Sunday while customers were checking out. The front desk clerk
was professional and patient as another rude customer was trying to complain.
Apparently he didn't enjoy being held accountable for his aggressive, loud,
drunken behaviour from the night before. I was happy he and his young rowdy
friends were all checking out!
I would have been rattled by his behaviour, but she was not and she transitioned
to each guest seamlessly! Excellent professionalism!
My room is large, spacious, CLEAN and well appointed. The sofa bed is a bit
worn, but comfortable. The kitchen is clean and updated, it even has 2 wine
glasses which was a welcome surprise.
The bedroom is separate from the living area with a small air conditioner. I am
not sure how well it would cool in the summer, but it is perfect for the late
The room was hot and stuffy when I arrived. It was quickly remedied by opening
the patio door and allowing fresh air in.
Photos posted are an accurate reflection of the room. Bathroom is small, clean
This is not a 5 star hotel. It is a solid 3 star with 4 star comfort and 5 star
I paid $12.50 for a transit day pass at YVR, took the sky train to City Centre,
walked 1 block to Robson and took the #5 Robson to Broughton stop and walked 20
steps to the front door! It's a beautiful 15 minute walk to the convention
centre, and you feel like you are located in a beautiful neighbourhood. There is
a whole foods store 1 block away and a liquor store 2 blocks down.
There is a lot of street noise, but you are in a city not the country, this is
to be expected.
If you want the biggest bang for your buck this is the place to stay! I would
definitely recommend it to my friends!

Internet Connection was very frustrating as it was slow and dropped frequently.
Clean Hotel, Clean Room, Central to our purpose, between friends/family, close
to shopping, parks, beaches and other attractions.

Very clean room with a cozy and comfortable bed. Friendly check in staff with
plenty of brochures and maps available. Hotel is in an ideal location with easy
walking up to chic Robson Street shopping or down to beautiful Stanley Park.
Plenty of good restaurants in the area and on Denman Street. We walked to the
Aquarium in Stanley Park which only took 25 minutes. The only dig I have is the
parking which is minimal and tight both above ground and below. It should be
free and the hotel charges way to much per day for crappy parking.

We stayed only one night while awaiting moving into the neighborhood but could
easily imagine staying longer. What a lovely, spacious suite with a well
appointed kitchen and dining area. The rate was so much lower than I expected
for downtown Vancouver. Lots happening in the are with tons of restaurants and
shops. A great place to stay

Stayed at this hotel for its location and budget pricing. Found room size
exceeded expectations and surprised to find full kitchen included in space with
dinette area. Location is terrific, walking distance to downtown, art gallery,
numerous shops and easy transit access. Front desk staff very pleasant and
helpful. Vending machines in lobby for snacks and drinks at reasonable prices.
My kids found hallway smelled of food with full kitchens could have been cooking
odors as we made a meal one night and created some ourselves! Not a luxurious
facility but bang for the buck.
