Best Western Sands Vancouver is situated across the street from the beach at
beautiful English Bay and world famous
Stanley Park.
 If
you like to walk, Bike or
rollerblade this is the perfect place to be. One of my favorite walks takes 1
hour from the Best Western Sands, head up Davie left on Burrard left again on
Robson and then left on Denman back to the Hotel.( 1 hour unless you are a
shopper then Robson Street
will turn it into a couple of hours easy.

Shopping and there are a ton of
Restaurants nearby, you step out the door and head up Davie Street or on the
same corner but across the street there is the Boathouse Restaurant (seafood)
and Milestones, trendy casual creative food. If you head North there are lots of
places on Denman Street and further down it intersect Robson.
 One
of the best times to stay here is during the
Celebration of Light
as it literally happens right out front of it's door step.
