We were tempted with the price but the distance from Vancouver downtown is not
worth it even if you drive. we had a car but each trip takes min 35 minutes. It
is an ok place if you need to be close to Delta area. The hotel is old, rooms
are clean but out of class. Breakfast is a joke, just juice, tea, coffee, some
breads, jam etc, no cooked or hot food. parking is secure. staff are polite.

“Very comfortable - would definitely go back”
Everything, comfort wise, was great with this hotel - staff, cleanliness, size
of the room, and it was very quiet. The only thing that wasn't really great was
the restaurant adjacent to the hotel was not open for breakfast and there wasn't
another nice restaurant to go to close by. The restaurant didn't open until 10
a.m. Food was great for lunch though.
This neighbourhood was good - hotel is located about 10 minutes from the ferry
terminal. It is located on the main street and shops etc are very close. About a
5 minute walk away.

I highly recommend the Coast Tsawwassen Inn as a family refuge when visiting the
South Delta area. We were in town visiting family and assumed we wouldn't be
spending too much time in the hotel, but the friendly service, great restaurant,
and pool changed all that. The kids were so excited to have a pool at their
fingertips that we barely had time to put the suitcases away before we were off
to explore the pool! In our experience, normally there isn't much to a hotel
pool in the way of toys, but at this pool there was actually a swimming lesson
going on at the same time we were there and it turned out great because the
instructor gave my kids pool toys and lifejackets. It was way more fun for my
kids and I got to relax on the pool deck without worrying about them or having
to entertain them. The kids had a blast swimming and I had a hard time getting
them out (the bribe of pizza at Brown's seemed to do the trick). When I finally
managed to pull them away from the pool, we had a fabulous meal at Brown's
Social House which is conveniently located in the hotel. The pizza was to die
for and the service was very efficient and kid-friendly! We really felt at home
at the Coast Tsawwassen Inn and we'll definitely stay there the next time we're
in town. For overall experience, we were extremely pleased to find a hotel which
offered a pool, comfortable beds, clean rooms, helpful staff and a restaurant we
didn't have to travel far to. We couldn't have made a better choice!

Asked for the two bedroom room suite, they gave me two suites and it turned out
the former was available but not mentioned at check-in. Carpet needs upgrading
or a good cleaning. My door lock to the balcony did not function and it took
till the third day to fix it leaving my room not secure. Breakfast buffet was OK
and the coffee very good. Staff very nice. Free underground parking is not
secure. Short distance to shopping, dining and drug store. Close to beach and
beautiful sunsets. Close to ferry to Vancouver Island.

I was on a business trip and missed the last ferry to Victoria so had to find a
last minute hotel. I stay at other Coast hotels so thought this would be nice.
It was ok. I had the cheapest room so I'm not sure what the others are like but
this one was on the ground floor and a bit bleak. I liked the size and layout
but it was outdated and didn't feel luxurious in any way. I did enjoy swimming
in the pool and I would stay here again if I needed to be close to the ferry. |
