We spend lots of time at this hotel for our children's sports. The staff have
always been exceptional, the rooms clean, the beds comfortable and the standard
Holiday Inn Express breakfast is a great addition. There is a pool and a hot
tub! The hotel is close to restaurants, shopping and a quick drive over the port
mann bridge into Vancouver.
Room Tip: Ask for rooms on the 4th floor! No one is above you

I was there about the last week in June 2011. I was going river rafting and
needed to stay between downtown Vancouver and Chilliwack. What a great staff.
Everyone nice and friendly and there was a big park across the street. The hotel
is about 20 miles from the US Border if you drive it is super easy to locate.
Very CLEAN!!! It can't be that old. It looks to be about 3 to 5 years old.
You can walk to a number of places to eat. In a safe area.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The Holiday Inn chain (IC Hotels) maintains a uniformly good standard so there
were no surprises here. You get a clean, well appointed room at a reasonable
rate. There is no swimming pool, no restaurant, no bar, and none within walking
distance but there is FREE Parking, FREE WiFI, and FREE breakfast. The big name
5 star hotel down the street charges for all of these. There is a shopping mall
about 10 minutes drive away. Driving to Vancouver is a bit of a task at the
moment due to the construction on the highway. Kudos to the front desk staff and
to the breakfast lady for their helpful and good service!

We stayed at this hotel because it was close to our friend's home in Surrey and
because it was well recommended.
We couldn't have been happier with the hotel - the room was a good size with
plenty of space to relax, a double Jacuzzi bath and large shower. The bed was
very comfortable with good pillows and enough covers to give a good nights
sleep.
The breakfast room has a lovely outlook over a small courtyard and forested
area; the menu was excellent with a good variety of choices.
Next to the Reception desk is a small supply of snack food for guests to
purchase at any time; there is a coin operated Laundromat for guests and a
Business Centre with free internet as well as WiFi in the rooms.
We found the staff helpful and happy to give directions and options for us as
tourists from Australia. The hotel is not too far from the sky train so it is
very easy to travel into Vancouver.
We hope to return to visit our friends again and will be happy to stay in this
hotel!

Now this is a review of a hotel where I did not stay myself but had put up
guests who were here for a wedding in the family. We booked this hotel after
checking out many in Surrey and adjoining areas. We liked the rooms and the
attitude of sales staff who promised to make the guests have a memorable stay.
And I must say that the well travelled guests from Toronto had only superlatives
for this property. Everyone loved the spacious rooms, the hot and delicious
breakfast and great service. My wife and I spent many hours with them in their
rooms during their extended stay and we came back with the feeling of great
satisfaction with our choice. Our guests made special mention of the spa and
cleanliness. The hotel is very close to Surrey's largest shopping mall and Trans
Canada Hwy 1 as you can get onto it within a couple of minutes and go anywhere
from Vancouver, Whistler to Fraser Valley and BC Interiors. Our special thanks
to Raman Toor, the Sales Manager, for being true to his word. |
