We booked this hotel for one night and received a pretty good rate online from
the Hilton website. Upon arrival, we told the desk that we had an Air Miles
Hilton reward certificate for $100 towards Hilton brand hotels. The front desk
person had no idea how to use it or apply it towards our room, so told us to
speak to the person in the morning when we checked out...... This worried us a
little. The room was fine, good for a Hampton, the t.v. in a bit of an odd place
to watch from the bed but generally pretty nice. The continental breakfast the
next morning was good, we enjoyed it! Upon check out, the staff told us the
manager would talk to us as he had been told about the Air Miles certificate.
The manager came over, was very abrupt, told us that his hotel had "opted out"
of the Air Miles program and wouldn't honour the program or
certificate........he said that he thought most Hilton hotels in Canada would
soon be following suit and no longer accept Air Miles hotel certificates. We
told him we were very disappointed as this is why we booked a Hilton brand hotel
so we could use our Air Miles certificate that we redeemed many miles
for.........he didn't care and actually walked away. So, I can't say I am
impressed by the managements response in the least and we won't stay at this
hotel again simply due to the managements response. On a positive side, it is
close to the border and only about 1/2 hour from the Tsawwassen ferry terminal.

Nice hotel. Clean and adequate rooms. Mine had a mini-kitchen, which I never got
to use. You need your room key for the stairs, elevators, entrances (except the
main) and vending/ice. Instead of making me feel safer, I started wondering why
all the heightened security - even though I never saw or heard anything to be
concerned about.
I didn't position myself close enough to my business appointments, and ended up
with a 30-45 minute drive every morning. While this isn't the hotels fault, my
perceived value of the place went down as I could've stayed to downtown for the
same price per night.

Breakfast wasn't stocked properly when I came down, and I had a business meeting
to attend so I was unable to wait. Room was a mess. When i asked for some extra
sheets i was waiting for 30-45 minutes before i decided to go down and request
for them again.
There was alot of noise not only from the environment outside but from inside in
the halls.

i stayed here because of the reviews. they seem to be a facade though. i stayed
at this property and the noise from the main road was unbelievable. i could not
sleep a wink! my room was not cleaned properly...and let me tell u i have stayed
at many hotels.....the housekeeping was horrendous! i am truly appalled. i will
NOT be returning again!

Our daughter was getting married in Langley and we choose this hotel as our
"headquarters". It was the greatest!! From the moment we arrived, we were
greeted with friendly staff and a shining clean lobby. The positive service
didn't end there. Our room was excellent and the housekeeping staff was
personable as well as very professional. The complimentary breakfast included
everything you could think of, and I was additionally impressed that they use
environmentally recyclable dishware. I rate this hotel 5 stars through out and
highly recommend to anyone!

I stayed at the Hampton for business. Nice newer property, friendly staff, very
clean and quiet. Great restaurant attached to property. Easy free parking. Best
choice in town. |
