Hotel Review of the Ramada Langley Surrey

We booked our Ramada Surrey/Guilford hotel through Hotels.com. Though they
charged for the room but Ramada Guilford said they did not receive the
reservation. So we were forced to find a hotel in the middle of the night. We
got the room here without a reservation. The staff was courteous. It is little
costly though but well worth it.

Our stay at Ramada Langley was terrific. The early check-in really helped us
plan our day better. The room was nice and spacious and conveniently had
everything we needed in order to get ready for our plans that day. The hotel
staff were very courteous and helped us with directions to our venue. Thank-you
very much!

Hotel was a little out of the way, thought it was closer to Surrey. Getting in
and out of the hotel parking lot took time since it is located on a street that
you could not cross. The hotel was clean and very comfortable.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast
included-basic but adequate. The area is not particularly inviting as it is
situated on a commercial strip with Car dealerships etc. so you can’t really
walk anywhere, but for a place to sleep when you have to be in that area it is
perfectly OK and it was the cheapest around.

Overall experience at this Ramada, I would rank as very good. Pool, Jacuzzi and
exercise room were quiet and clean. Rooms, tip you may have to keep the air
conditioner on low while out of the room as it did tend to get stuff and hot
even though the weather was Cool while we were visiting. Rooms, spacious and
clean. First time seeing a sink with vanity in the front hall and not in the
bathroom. Other guests were quiet and courteous however if next door guest is an
early riser, you may hear their tv clear as a bell. The only problems we had was
at check in and at breakfast. At breakfast, small eating area with 6
individualized tables. 2 of our 4 days, we had a standing room only for eating,
during an off peak time for breakfast. Selection of food was average, with
nothing home to write about. Checking in, we booked our rooms via expedia.com.
We had 2 rooms booked and came with itineraries printed off, just in case. We
were told we had 3 rooms not 2 booked for our stay. Had to call expedia over the
confusion which ended up being the hotels mistake. 1 room with 2 queen beds and
1 other room with 1 queen. The single queen room, we ended up in the disabled
room due to the mix up. Despite these 2 hiccups....it was an enjoyable stay with
alot of amenities around.

We highly recommend staying at this hotel. We recently enjoyed our stay at this
Ramada. The guest rooms are lovely and clean, the staff is extremely friendly
and very accommodating, and the hotel itself is decorated in a warm and
welcoming decor. During our stay, we were able to enjoy the continental
breakfast offered each morning, which offered quite a selection of food and
beverage. We also used the workout room which provided brand new equipment
(treadmill, bicycle, and weight machine). We were also pleased to have the
convenience of an in-hotel mini store which we were able to feed our sweet tooth
and snack cravings. We have stayed in several hotels the past several years, and
this is one of the nicest and friendliest so far. We will definitely come back
the next time we are in the Surrey or Langley area.

My family and I were from the UK and stayed at the Ramada for 10 days. The Staff
were very helpful and really nice, always polite and always willing to help us.
The breakfast facilities were good too, but would have liked the odd hot
breakfast, but overall there was plenty of choice and always fresh. I do think
you need to invest into 'Typhoo' tea, as I didn't rate the tea much. The
facilities offered by the hotel were good too, there was internet access, and a
swimming pool. The only thing I didn't like was the design of the bedrooms, as
the hand wash basin was situated in the bedroom area rather than the bathroom.
However, my overall experience was good.
