I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Clean. Convenient. Tremendous
staff on the front desk especially the night time Chinese boy and the daytime
Canadian girls. Very helpful. The downside of this hotel is NO SHOWER GEL. You
have to use bar soap. Too bad. Nice room. Nice bed. Nice towels but BAR SOAP!
Yuk. I would not recommend the restaurant connected to the hotel due to its
overpriced food and the worst steak I ever had. Loud too. I highly suggest the

The Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Surrey is my hotel of choice when traveling for
business to the Vancouver, BC area. My travels take me south of the city and
every time I stay at this hotel I am not disappointed. The hotel staff is the
best. Always smiling and accommodating. Last trip there was a reservation error
and the girls jumped right on it and took care of it for me.
The rooms are spacious and clean, which to me, is greatest factor in reviews.
Outside noise minimal due to the residential area of the hotel. Noise inside is
rare as well. The beds are quite comfortable though, as has become the case with
HI Hotels everywhere, the pillows are proving cheap and uncomfortable. The
restaurant and bar on property are not affiliated with the hotel although they
do serve the standard HI breakfast. Service and food were good for that aspect
as well.

I have stayed at this Hotel many times. The staff are EXCELLENT in every way
very friendly and very professional. The rooms are great, VERY CLEAN and the
rooms are very nicely decorated. The rooms are very comfortable and the beds are
absolutely the BEST!! I highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure! I
have had my wife stay with me at this hotel on a few business trips and she says
"I know why you stay here it's like home away from home".

We have stayed at this property twice and enjoyed it both times.
Both times we were in a suite.
Pros
Separate bedroom from living area
Small kitchenette (microwave, bar fridge, sink, but no stove or hotplate) plates
and utensils available from the front desk.
Large bathroom, double sinks with marble tops
Spacious bedroom with king sized bed
High quality bed linens
Living room has a pullout couch if needed
Each room has its own TV
Ice and pop machines on each floor with more vending machines on main floor.
Restaurant attached to hotel
Air conditioner/ Heater in each room
Cons
Traffic noise - We were on the side facing the road so the back rooms may be
better.
( Turning the fan on the heater drowned out the noise )
The staff were very friendly and accommodating (let us have a late check out)
Would stay again |
