Hotel Review of the
Best Western Peace Arch Inn
23 December 2011
We needed a place to stay in the Vancouver/Surrey area of BC for a family
member's memorial. I have had issues with lodgings in the Surrey area before.
(Hard to find and not up to my expectations.) Having stayed at the Best Western
Peppertree inn Spokane a few weeks previously and being quite impressed I chose
this Hotel and also recommended it to other family members. I was not
disappointed. The staff was very welcoming, the Hotel was clean and quiet and
the cost was not outrageous. The front desk clerk Abdul was aware of our
situation and his friendly manner and concern really helped make us feel good
about our choice. I will definitely stay here again when in the Vancouver area
as it is quite conveniently located close to White Rock and Crescent Beach, the
US Border and the freeway into downtown Vancouver. The Hotel also has an indoor
pool and a spa. A breakfast is supplied with your room and it was OK mind you
NOT as extensive as the one as the Best Western Peppertree in Spokane. To access
the Hotel make sure you are heading south on the King George Highway as there in
no access from the north side of the highway.
If you need a clean comfortable, reasonably priced Hotel to stay in while you
are in the Vancouver/Surrey area I am happy to recommend this property

My husband and I stayed here on a quick overnighter before heading to the US.
The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable and wifi was included. The
fellows at the front desk were very friendly. There is shopping and many
restaurants very close by. They provide a continental breakfast in the morning.
I would stay here again.

There are bed bugs at this hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE. Ick.
After two rooms were inspected with bed bugs in both rooms, the decision was
made not to try anymore rooms. who knows, maybe some are so far ok, but with two
having bed bugs, I wouldn't hold my breath...

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights last week. The hotels is very clean, the
employees are very friendly and helpful. A continental breakfast is supplied --
buns, bagels, muffins, toast, cereal (hot and cold), pancakes, fresh fruit and
hard boiled eggs. Plus the usual beverages. If you leave hungry, you weren't
trying.
The hotel also provided free WIFI although this was not indicated in their
advertising. Over all, a very good experience and we would not hesitate to stay
there in the future.
Hotel Review of the
Best Western Peace Arch Inn

The Peace Arch Inn is in what appears to be a nice area of Surrey - very close
to White Rock. The hotel is new and rooms are nice. We had a nice night only to
discover the next morning my car had been broken into and the window smashed.
When I informed the front desk they told me "oh people have been telling us all
morning" however they never tried to contact us to ask people that were coming
down to breakfast if anyone with a Blue Ford Escape was here. The front desk
wasn't very helpful about the situation and didn't really seem to care. Would
never stay here again nor recommend it to people. |
