Park Royal has the distinction of being Canada's first mall. It is located just
west of the Lions Gate Bridge in West Vancouver at the corner of Taylor Way and
Marine Drive.
Park Royal's more than 250 shops and services include A Wear, a popular
Vancouver fashion label, Le Chateau, popular with teens, Roots, Aveda, Aritzia,
a very popular women's boutique, and several sporting goods stores.
The largest mall in Greater Vancouver (990,000 sq.ft.), Park Royal has a
North and South component divided by Marine Drive.
The North side hosts retail giant The Bay, along with stores such as London
Drugs, Coast Mountain Sports, The Book Company and The Disney Store.
Meanwhile the South side has several destination stores like grocer Super
Valu, electronic specialist Future Shop and sports chain Sport Chek.
Mix it up
Although Park Royal has a diverse mix of stores ranging from Tidey Lock and Key
Ltd. to The Body Shop, it revels in its role as a destination for the
fashion-conscious shopper. With over 40 fashion stores including The Gap, Jacob,
Banana Republic, Eddie Bauer, Talbots and La Vie En Rose, there is something for
every clothes buyer. And for those who have worked up an appetite while
shopping, the food court on the South side of the mall offers a mix of eating
opportunities.
Banks are located in both the North and South malls, and there is plenty of
free parking.

To get to Park Royal, cross the Lions Gate Bridge. When you exit the bridge, go
west to the first intersection, and you're there. From Horseshoe Bay, go south
at the Taylor Way exit to Marine Drive. Park Royal is on your right in two
buildings one on either side of Marine Drive at the corner of Taylor Way. |
