One of the hottest summer activities in the Lower Mainland. With its assortment
of home-style snacks, cooked-to-order savoury and discount merchandise, it
promises to capture the varied interests of all passers-by.
If you’re looking to find some sweet deals or just want to have a good time, the
Summer Night Market in Richmond is the place for you.
With over 300 booths to pick from,
chances are you won’t leave empty-handed. They have hats, clocks, T-shirts,
cell-phones, video games, CD’s, toys, even underwear.
This is the event that took over the former location of the infamous Richmond
Night Market (which still needs a venue).
A visual treat with complementary sensory overload for the late night foodie in
us. Once the crowd kicks in, the place turns to life.
- Cheap eats in tapas-style dishes.
- Free entrance.
- FUN!
- Flea Market - Night Market Style.
It's a fun experience and worth your while.
For the assorted merchandise, it reminds me of the flea markets around Hong Kong
Come real (really!) early to get decent parking and front seat, wait-free foodie
sampling.
There is private parking (entrance is at No 5 and River Road) provided by the
Summer Night Market organisers which may not be evident because of the numerous
surrounding lots offering parking which will make you nervous and surrender to
them early on. I did. :(
Most booths offer free samples. Ask for one if they run out.
