While this hotel is a standard Sheraton in most respects, it is worth
noting that the beds at this hotel are EXCELLENT. I have slept in hotel
rooms all over the world, but there was something about the bed at this
simple airport hotel that was magic.
Service and amenities were very good as well. This is a good, reasonably
priced choice for airport travel at YVR, especially if you are an SPG
member.

- mattress not hard enough, in fact very soft and you would need stomach
muscles to get out of bed
- not impressed with restaurant but it's not too bad (avoid wild salmon
with maple syrup!)
- overall ok

Best gym ever seen at a hotel. Great rooms. Wifi is pretty good.
Starbucks in the lobby, what more can you ask for?

This hotel isn't the kind of place I would be happy to stay as a Tourist
... it's near the airport and near shopping (Richmond Center, Ikea, etc)
but it's not near the attractions of Vancouver. For meetings, however,
it's really great.
The hotel has been renovated and everything is in good condition. With a
Starbucks and a great diner in the lobby it's got convenience (plus
there are TONS of great restaurants within 2 blocks from asian food of
every kind to Greek to Steak). There is plenty of parking, an airport
shuttle and happy staff who will help you get where you need to go.
We held a small meeting here and while our meeting room didn't have
windows that is the ONLY thing I can complain about. Fantastic space,
everything we needed and helpful people. Even better the temperature
didn't fluctuate all the time which is usually the biggest issue with
meeting rooms. There are lots of computers in the lobby & free Wifi in
the lobby so you can handle any quick business issues swiftly and free
in the lobby (even printing).
My favorite part of the hotel (besides the fabulous bed - man it was
comfy!!!) was the gym. Bright, spacious and massively well equipped it
actually has made me want to book this hotel for every meeting we ever
hold on the West Coast. It was one of the Top 5 best hotel gyms.
We didn't end up bringing our dog but the hotel is also dog friendly.
Really great place with great people. Huge shout out to Ciso who helped
us with the event set up & organization, and Peter one of the staff in
the hall who actually took time to escort people when they were lost
(the hotel has a lot of meeting rooms). Can't say enough about the staff
- all were SO friendly and helpful. Great work guys!!
