Stayed here one night on our way back to Oz, we stayed in January and it
was so quiet!. The room was clean, bed was comfy and fantastic. The free
shuttle to and from the airport was a bonus. The restaurant was shut and
room service unavailable, but it was fine as we just went across the
road to Earls.
Fitness centre is brand new, great to be able to have access to one
before a long haul flight.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The staffs are friendly, our room
is comfortable and clean and it also provides free high speed internet
(Wifi), and free shuttle to the airport. All these for under $90 CAD a
night which I think is a good deal. One minor deficiency was that mixer
tap in the bathroom delivered only warm water, not hot, as in the basin
taps but since this temperature was adequate for both baths and showers
it was not a serious detraction from our enjoyment merely a curious
(probably maintenance related) quirk. All in all an enjoyable stay in my
wife's hometown. We shall be seeing you again

Hotel itself was very nice. Nice soft big pillows. Free internet. Nice
large 2 queen beds. Multitude of Asian cafes and restaurants walking
distance. However, it was a little pricey. Initially when the hotel was
displayed the price was $145/night but when I booked it, the price
changed to $185. Next door La Quinta was $46 less and included breakfast
with freshly made waffles.

We liked the convenient location to shops, restaurants, and airport. We
liked the attentive staff, cleanliness of the hotel and rooms. Because
they have dancing/karaoke in the lobby we only recommend that you get a
higher room floor and away from the elevators so you don't hear the
music if you are sensitive to that. Otherwise, we liked it so much that
this is our second time there.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel late last year before an early flight
for a trip to Asia. The value was great considering the airport parking
we saved and the xtra hours of sleep we got. The hotel is simple and
nice. The staff was friuendly and our room was clean. We did not use the
pool, but the soaker tub in our room was very comfortable. I would not
mind staying here for the last day of a business trip if I need to catch
an early flight home.Guest Reviews of the Four Points Sheraton Vancouver Airport

We stayed at this hotel about 3 years ago, and our positive experience brought
us back again and we were glad to have done so, being very familiar with the
Sheraton chain of hotels. Just 10 minutes by car or hotel shuttle from the
airport, this is a nice clean hotel especially if you do not need to be downtown
Vancouver, although there is the monorail nearby that goes downtown. Reception
was very efficient and very friendly each time (On this trip we stayed at this
property twice, once on the way in after a long international flight and again
on the last leg before our international flight out the next day). Room
housekeeping staff were very friendly as well. Room rates are also quite
reasonable - we booked thro their hotel website.
Rooms are spacious, and the king bed / queens (we had both types on the two
occasions this trip) are typically Sheraton- "heavenly beds". Free in-room
wireless, Starbucks coffee / tea available in-room, and flat screen tv. Overall
functional and clean appointments (no in-room safe, but safe deposit boxes
available at reception).
Free shuttle bus available from airport (we had to call hotel for it for pickup)
and to airport (booked at the reception).
Surrounding the hotel just across the road are plentiful and great affordable
Chinese restaurants which suited us perfectly. Being the hotel within walking
distance is a shopping center.
Parking is CAD10.00 per day.

The elevator wasn't working at times which was a bit of a hassle. It's located
around a lot of Asian restaurants which is great if you like Asian cuisine, but
it is a bit of a drive to downtown Vancouver. They also charge for parking.

The location of this hotel is very convenient to shopping & dinning areas; lots
of variety of Chinese cuisines. The internet shown the room is 336 sq. Ft. But
the room we have are small, even less than 200 sq. Ft. Good to have a security
system that we need to swipe the guest room card to get access to the elevator.
They have free shuttle services and free parking and internet available for
guests, except no free breakfast. The staff is very nice and helpful. Do
recommend friends to stay in this hotel.

I liked the area because it was right in Richmond; but they charged you for
everything. Even to make a local call or for parking there was a charge ($10 a
day). The 3 days I was there one of the elevators was down the whole time so
they had only one working elevator. Staff was friendly.

This hotel is convenient located in Richmond, across the street from a mall, and
surrounded by lots of good Asian restaurants. Front desk staff is pleasant.
Lobby area is huge with live entertainment in the bar area right next to it.
Pool area is fun for kids. Parking is free. Room is good sized and beds are
comfortable. Would stay again.

We stayed here for two nights. The lobby and outside are well kept. The rooms
are OK but the decor is very dated with the original furniture and bedspreads
used from when the hotel first opened. The furniture with the small flat screen
TV is well worn and chipped on the edges. Agree with other users about $10
parking fee which should be waived. The new Canada Line metro trains are now
running and you can go directly from YVR airport to the downtown Waterfront
station in about 30 minutes. If you're getting off a cruise ship, you can also
get directly to the hotel using this line. There is also Lansdowne station near
the hotel but it is a good 10 minute walk if you take a shortcut across the
Lansdowne Mall parking lot. We travelled from downtown and the clerk told us to
walk from Lansdowne, instead of sending the shuttle to get us at the airport. It
was about 11 pm at night and although there may be no traffic in the parking
lot, you have to walk on Alderbridge, through the back entrance of the hotel,
and the lighting is not that good through the trees. If you have walking
problems, have luggage or are with young kids, I recommend not walking from
Lansdowne Station and insist that the shuttle come get you from the airport. I
spoke to the staff and they explained the liability insurance issue, basically
that the shuttle was only authorized to go between the hotel and the airport
only. I suggested that it is only a 2 minute drive for the shuttle from
Lansdowne station and in the long run, they would actually save money by paying
the higher insurance costs. Lots of Asian malls around the hotel, with Aberdeen
Mall (all asian) close by but a good 15 minute walk. Overall, a pleasant stay.

My family decided to travel to Richmond for an Asian culinary experience (yes,
we really were there to eat eat EAT), and picked the Four Points because of an
SPG.com promotion (50% off the second night). The location of the hotel was very
convenient for quick access to the restaurants, bakeries, and strip malls on
Alexandra, Hazelbridge, and No.3 road. We were pleasantly surprised by the
mini-fridge in our room, which was great for storing all the fresh BC berries
from the nearby farmer's markets. The fitness centre was well-equipped (had to
give 'er on the elliptical after over-indulging) and there were two TVs in the
room so you could sweat and keep up with what's happening on "So You Think You
Can Dance." The only drawback was the $10 parking charge, but other than that,
we were very happy during our three-night stay.

Stayed there for 5 days and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the
Hotel. Location is not the most exciting but it's a short hop on the 98 to
downtown Vancouver an just 10 min from the airport (with a Skytrain station
close by due to open at the end of the year) . The staff was very friendly and
accommodating. I brought my bike along for the say and that was no problem
(Hotel is close to bike paths) Room was spotless, beds were perfect free wifi
was a bonus. The best hotel stay I've had so far .Guest Reviews of the Four Points by Sheraton Vancouver Airport

We spent a night at the Four points. This hotel is well maintained and spotless.
We were greeted with a smile and the check-in was a breeze. They have a well
equipped gym. Our room faced the Toys r Us. We could see the planes coming in
for landing but the noise was not an issue. We took a stroll around the area and
the street was lively with young Asians hanging around the numerous Chinese
restaurants. They have ample parking. The only negative comment would be the
$10/day parking fees.

This Sheraton is located in an Asian suburb, so if you like asian food this is
the best place to be! It's close to the airport and the restaurants with the
best Asian cuisines open from 7am-3am!
The hotel has very helpful staff. The room has double beds which was very
comfortable. Modern and tastefully decorated with lovely bathroom amenities.
There is complimentary internet if you have your own laptop or if you don't then
they provide complimentary computer stations.
Overall very clean and we had a pleasant stay!

There are three reasons why you would end up staying here:
1. You found it at a fire sale
2. You're traveling with your neurotic asian mother, and she feels safer staying
by the airport
3. You got stuck at Vancouver airport and needed a decent airport hotel.
That being said, 1 and 2 were true for me when I stayed here. And hey, it wasn't
bad. We had driven up from Seattle, so armed with a car, Vancouver attractions
and shopping were all still pretty accessible from the Airport Sheraton. Rooms
were fine, service was fine, views and location were well ... airport-style. It
was in close proximity to an Asian supermarket and tons of Asian food though, so
my mom was definitely happy!
So yeah, it was A-OK.

Richmond hotels don't get too much better than this -- especially if you're on a
budget. My previous stays here were fantastic. My beds were extremely comfy and
the customer service was great. The last two times I had stayed here the room
rate was roughly $67 CAD a night, which is a steal these days. Being that its so
close to the airport and decent enough not to look like a hooker laden motel
joint, I vote this place a solid place to stay for visitors to the great city of
Richmond.
Also, they have a shuttle that runs from the hotel virtually every hour and the
schedules are at the front desk upon check in. Try and get the rooms closer to
the lobby, they're not near the elevator or as noisy as the second floors.
