You're interesting for lodging in that area , it's beautiful , the food
is good, near the sky train for going downtown, close from the airport
(max 10min.) and on the top of that just call Mrs Laura Stevenin for
organizing your booking or any thing else she knows everything and
always ready to help the client with her nice smile and she speak very
well in French.
Will come back pretty soon.

The staff was more than accommodating with dietary requests and changes
in what was in the room. They were fast and efficient and friendly which
made our client appreciation night a success. Marie-Astrid took on the
stress and organized the event beyond our expectations. We will
definitely be having our next event here.

My wife and I checked in at 315pm and our room wasn't ready for us for
some reason. We were directed to sit some chairs off to the side of the
reception for about 20 minutes. I was waved over to the front desk and
was unceremoniously handed the room keys with no further explanation
(directions to the room, or explanation of the WI-FI, or assistance with
our luggage). We honestly felt very put out by our check in experience.
The hotel is very dated and the room we were given was clean but on the
old side and smelled a bit stale, nothing so bad that we felt the need
to move up the street, but definitely recommend people stay somewhere
different. There are many other hotels in the same area that looked a
lot nicer. This didn't feel like a $125/ night hotel.

Marie-Astrid, Lavinia, Paul and Alex are a great team - thank you all
for your caring service! The Executive Airport Plaza Hotel has versatile
space - The grand ballroom can be easily broken up into three breakout
rooms if need be. All last minute and special requests were met without
any trouble. Special food requirements of conference participants were
met by the kitchen.
The ballroom temperature was a bit cool, but staff responded to our
comments / concerns immediately - very accommodating. We would
definitely consider hosting our conference at this venue again. Thank
you.

I recently had an out of province operation and stayed 17 days at the
Richmond Airport Plaza Hotel, across the street from the hospital. I
don't normally like staying in hotels but I enjoyed recuperating in this
one. The room, while not grandiose, had a separate section from the beds
that was a small living room\kitchen area. The room and the hotel in
general were very clean, the staff professional, friendly and very
helpful. Although I could not use the pool or the fitness room these
were available to patrons. An apple and the daily newspaper awaited you
every morning in the reception area. A free shuttle bus took me from\to
the airport which I used more than once because my sister and partner
were arriving on separate days.
Good shopping and restaurants are available nearby. The Sky Train is
within walking distance, if inclined to go to Vancouver. The area felt
safe, was very clean, with a beautifully designed park across the
street. The hospital was also across the street.
The only things that need a little improvement are these:
1- while not bad, the bathroom in my room should be freshened
2- Internet access in the bedroom was not good. When I mentioned this
again to a staff member 2 days after I came home the employee agreed and
told me they had been working on a new system while I was there and that
it had started that very day. I had no way of verifying if this was
true. The hotel happened to be one of many in the area and the only
hotel which didn't offer free computers to its patrons. If you didn't
bring your own computer you could use theirs at $3.00\15 minutes.
3- If planning to stay at this hotel, pick a room away from the parking
lot. It was noisy.
All in all, I would gladly return to this hotel and would not hesitate
to recommend it to friends and family. |
