Our company has been coming here for many years.

Rooms are in need of some care. Bedding is the only redeeming quality; sheets are starched & pressed. Mattresses are another story; firm with a semi thick mattress pad making the bed a fluffy pillow top wannabe. Furniture is dated and Television is a throwback to the early 80's. Get with it folks!

Fitness center is open 24hrs. Pretty damn good actually. Aside from cardio equipment, free weights and weight machine, gym has a nice view and is accessorized with towels (some chilled!); apples and water to quench your thirst.

Have a pint (or three) at the enjoyable Elephant & Castle next door! Super nice staff and cool bar area. Try the awesome Fish 'n Chips. Food is good and many beers to choose from. Great view too from most tables.

Bus stop is right out front of the hotel, making it easy for a fast getaway. 25-30min ride to downtown area. Coins only so be prepared.

The Delta hotel chain seems to cater to business travelers. Not a lot of frills, but the basics are well covered.

There is a bar/restaurant on site (The Elephant and Castle), there is a small pool, a fitness center and wifi in the lobby is free, though we had to pay for internet in the room.

We were visiting Vancouver for a long weekend and my wife got a great rate on Allure-hotels.com for this hotel. The hotel is very close to the airport and a little further south from the places to visit in Vancouver, but it was a good deal, none the less.

I stayed at this hotel for one night before leaving Vancouver and chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport. My premium room on the sixth floor overlooked the marina and the pool and was a nice view. Bedding was very nice, no fridge, but there was a coffee maker in the bathroom. I thought the walls were a bit thin, as I could hear most noises outside of my room. Service was excellent; I was greeted by my name anytime I phoned for service, room service was fast, friendly and food was very good (club sandwich and fries) and I was offered a bottle of water from the bellhop while relaxing outside. The restaurant looked very busy and fun upon viewing. A free shuttle running every 20 minutes to the airport was on time and a nice cost savings. I would recommend this hotel if you choose to stay at the airport area, however, there is nothing close by to visit on foot.

It is a cozy hotel but the room rate is bit pricey. If you’re looking for a hotel nearby to the airport. This hotel is your choice. Also, you do not miss your emails if you go to the hotel lobby for free Wi-Fi connection, although the speed is bit sluggish.

We stayed here the night before our vacation so we could avoid commuting in during rush hour the day of our trip. This hotel was clean and very convenient for an overnight stay close to the airport. There is a free shuttle that runs every 20 minutes or so to the airport. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean but unbelievably cold. No messing with the temperature gauge remedied the situation.

The onsite Restaurant/Pub is the Elephant & Castle - good food but is on the pricey side as there is no real close competition. There is nothing really close to this hotel at all other than the airport. About 1 km away is a park to watch the planes land...if you need anything or want to go wander expect a cab ride to Richmond Center.
Overall I would definitely recommend this for an overnight stay between flights or a night before departure convenience.

Pleasant enough place to stay. No real noise from planes. The wired Ethernet took a couple of tries before it worked. Typical TV. Comfortable bed, Good size closet, not sure about the practice of keeping the coffee maker and supplies in the bathroom.

More reasonably price than the Fairmount (which is attached to the Airport), the Delta is a sound choice for overnight stays/layovers in the Vancouver airport area. (It is the closest off-site hotel to YVR)

The hotel operates a dedicated (ie: not shared) shuttle service between the hotel and the airport every 20 minutes or so.

Rooms are simple, somewhat small but clean and well maintained. Common areas also look in good shape.

A good feature of the hotel is the nearvy presence of the Elephant&Castle pub. Access to the B-Line bus to Downtown Vancouver is also good (a small bus terminal/exchange is located in front of the hotel).

This Delta provides relatively good value

I usually try to avoid Delta hotels and groaned when I learned my group had been booked here. I was pleasantly surprised by the quiet room, the comfortable beds and the helpful staff, who quickly moved to shut down a noisy party in the room right above me.

We just wanted a cheap ,one night stay near to the airport as our flight was getting in late afternoon from the UK and we were leaving next morning for a cruise which was ending in LA. We bid for a lesser rated hotel on Priceline hoping for one near to the shopping mall in Richmond and were disappointed to be 'upgraded' to this one as we did not know the area surrounding the hotel.

The complimentary shuttle arrived after about 30 mins wait, once at the hotel check in was friendly and quick. The room had 2 large beds which were very difficult to get out of the next morning as they were so comfy !!.

We did not eat in the hotel as we were so tired and just wanted a snack and go straight to bed. We took a walk over the bridge by the hotel, quite safe , there is a footpath. We found a small retail development just beyond the rail bridge which had a Starbucks, Subway and Burgerking. We had a quick bite to eat here then went back to the hotel. On the way back we spied a wine and beer store attached to the Comfort inn so bought a 'nightcap' there .

Check out next morning was quick and efficient then we were on our way to start an adventure refreshed after a good night sleep.
