Upon arrival i discovered that breakfast is not included. the booking online was
unclear & stated "some amenities may not be available". but doesn't say what
those are. i complained to the manager that i must be at the airport at 6am and
that i needed that breakfast. he gave me no credit & insisted i go upstairs to
email him my reservation documents. i was puzzled by this, called down after
struggling with his request, to find he had gone home and was told i should know
better and should have known he was leaving. i said a manager should know better
than to go home when there is an unresolved issue such as this. THE MANAGER
DITCHED ME. Bathtub wouldn't drain, cracked tiles, horrible epoxy fix on the
edges of the tub. i dub this place the uncomfortable inn. it is well worth it to
pay a few more bucks for something better. i emailed my complaints to this hotel
chain, with no reply from them.

If you just need an inexpensive stay for a night or two, this place will do. It
is about 20-30 minutes by train to downtown Vancouver. The beds are comfortable
but without a decent restaurant and far from most anything, it isn't the best
choice if you are visiting Vancouver. I had forgotten a few toiletry items and
needed to get to a drugstore but could not walk to one as they were so far away.
Had to take a cab ride just to pick up some items. It is about a 5 minute walk
to the SkyTrain which is very convenient and a cheap ride to downtown. There is
a shuttle from the airport to the hotel that runs every 30 minutes.

For a cheap stay near the train and the airport - is well worth it. Rooms are a
bit noisy but beds are comfortable and service is good. Front desk staff were
very accommodating

We stayed in a business suite with 4 adults
Pros:
The rooms were spacious and had 2 queen beds + a pretty decent sofa bed
Good location - close to the airport, walking distance to Starbucks and the
Yaohan Mall which has a really big selection of Asian food for a good price
Free wifi, free shuttle to airport
Clean rooms, comfy beds, can't hear the traffic when the windows are closed
24 hr front desk, which is good since we arrived at 4am
Cons:
Service varies depending on who you get
You can hear the people above you walking around
Over the phone, the guy told me that parking was normally $15, but he was only
going to charge me an extra $10 on top of the room rate. When we got there, the
guy forget about the deal and told me that parking was an extra $8. What's with
the discrepancies?

We stayed here on the 13th October 2011, because our flight out was early in the
morning. It is a very good basic hotel, with efficient check-in and check-out
procedures. It is clean, inexpensive, comfortable and quiet, and the bed was
very good. Parking was free and across the street is a great family-style
Italian restaurant (The Italian Tomato), with wonderful pizza. It is a
functional hotel, in the sense that you don't go there for the fun or the
atmosphere, but because it serves your purpose. In similar circumstances I would
go there again.

Basically, a good airport hotel, i.e. somewhere close to the airport to lay your
head for one night before departing for somewhere else.
The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom ditto. The communal parts of
the hotel however left a lot to be desired. The enormous, dark corridors somehow
brought the X-Files to mind, while the industrial amount of peach room spray
hanging in the air was enough to get both of us high. One rather wondered what
all that room spray was being used to cover up.....

This hotel only has a few things going for it-it's close proximity to the
airport, its complimentary airport shuttle and the Italian Tomato Restaurant
across the street. Otherwise, it is an older, dingy hotel with no breakfast, pay
for parking and limited amenities. I only stay here when i am arriving late
and/or leaving early. If I am staying any longer I will opt for the HIX or
Quality Inn Airport South-which is usually cheaper and includes breakfast and
parking. I would not stay here for multiple nights.

Okay so this is an older hotel and the room was practically out of the early
80's but for the one night I spent there it actually wasn't so bad and I have
definitely experienced worse hotels.
I was at a conference across the road at the Westin so spent very little time at
the Comfort Inn but almost made time for a dip in the pool as it was a nice warm
early Fall afternoon. The room I was in was 212 with two double beds that were
comfy enough to allow me to doze off for a solid 7 hours. The bathroom is fairly
small with not much of a counter to put your toiletries on, a standard
bath/shower with newer shower head, remote wall mounted AC unit and decent cable
TV. Overall a functional room but not one built for luxury or one likely to win
a place in a trendy hotel decor magazine. But if you want that kind of thing the
Westin is literally across the street and several times the price.
The staff was pleasant enough and stored my luggage the first afternoon when I
had to register for the conference and my room wasn't ready yet. I did the same
the next day at check out and came back later to retrieve the bag before taking
the shuttle to the airport. That shuttle is also shared between these two hotels
which to me couldn't be more different than night & day as the Westin is that
new, hip, trendy, design kind of hotel that charges $200+ a night while the
Comfort Inn is the older model that's seen a few miles and has a few rough spots
but is more in the $100 range. Everyone will make different choices about price
and value but my bottom line is if it was coming out of my pocket and I needed
to make a short stay near the airport I could see myself at least checking this
hotel out though I won't pretend I'd be in a hurry to rush back.
