We liked the convenience as we were going to a concert at the river rock casino, also the staff were very helpful as we are from out of town and needed road directions a couple of times. Also the shuttle bus to the casino was great. The wing chairs in the restaurant were lovely

It is a clean & friendly hotel. It was quiet & we slept well. Conveniently located near the bus & skytrain. Great food & service at the pub The decor is very nice, the beds are wonderful, and the food is very good. I like the Scottish theme. Handsome Inn.

The hotel offers complimentary high speed internet and breakfast. The location is convenient and staff friendly. Only the room ... was a little small for a family and hallways are narrow.

My family of 3 used this hotel for the night before our departure from Vancouver. We were impressed with the care the staff ... took to make sure we were booked on shuttles for an early departure to the airport (we were leaving at different times). They were also very helpful in assisting us in locating a specific restaurant. We would stay again.

This was a good place to stay near the airport for a night or two. The room was clean and comfortable, but the hotel is a ... bit old and could use an update. The restaurant was good and the breakfast coupon that is included in the price can either be used for a complimentary continental breakfast or for $6 off the breakfast menu, which is quite good. We stayed here with our 13 month old son and the room was big enough to set up the playpen for him to sleep in and he still had plenty of room to play and crawl around.

Excellent airport motel, much better than Coast Airport, for instance. Had second floor room facing main road. Quiet. Very large room, lots of space for luggage and reading even with two large double beds. Huge, clean, well-supplied bathroom. Excellent front desk staff. Very nice self-serve junior buffet breakfast: hot boiled eggs, bacon, plus all the usual cold stuff and beverages.
Their shuttle van wasn't working, so the front desk paid with no fuss for taxi both ways to airport. A Husky service station small grocery store is two blocks away; Starbucks, Burger King and a liquor store are four blocks. Also four blocks to B-Line bus direct to downtown and back.
Structure is a standard block near the road; the photo makes the lot look deceptively spacious! Price about $130 a month in advance on BW website. I had to cancel this, then re-booked a few days before the stay, using the phone to BW. Now, price was $110 (both plus tax). In either case, the price was good for a Vancouver airport motel; the $110 was exceptional!

Stayed here a few times, generally no bad surprises. Comfy pub with friendly service good place for dinner and a beer. Internet seems to work properly so far. A wee bit pricey depending on current rates, but it is a better hotel than several of its neighbors. Quaint appearance, ample parking outside.

Ended up in a line behind 4 others at check-in, just after 7pm. It was way too long to wait to get into a hotel. One person was having difficulty with his credit cards, not helping the line-up, but the one front desk staff member was overwhelmed. Someone, maybe a manager, should have stepped in to help. Every other time in the evening when I walked by there was at least one person waiting behind the one being served. The rooms were nice and clean, decorated sort of old-inn style. Beds aren't new, but were not uncomfortable. The restaurant here is fantastic though. The food is home cooked British goodness! I will probably stay again and use the restaurant for meals, like I normally do when visiting this area.

We stayed one night at this hotel and picked it because it's located close to the airport. The room was clean and had the basic amenities. The room rate also included a decent breakfast. The only think I didn't like about this hotel was the décor. This hotel is in bad need of a renovation. There was lots of dark wood accents - which made me think Bavarian, and then posters on the wall with Scottish clan names?? Very odd. For what we got, and what we paid, I would rather have stayed at the Fairmont right in the airport - which we did at the start of our vacation.

Location is very convenient to airport, Costco just right across the street, and just few blocks away from all the authentic Chinese restaurants in Richmond. Guest room is very clean and cozy and crib is provided free of charge upon request. Complementary breakfast is all you can eat with varieties of choices to choose from. Free parking and WiFi across the entire hotel coverage with no interferences. The only down side is the air conditioning system of which is either too cold or too hot. I have trouble adjusting to the right temperature. Other than that, this Inn is highly recommended!!!

Stayed one night after a cruise and was pleasantly surprised. Low rise building that appears to have been redecorated. Everything clean and bathroom modern with lots of goodies on the counter. In room coffee/tea, good sized under counter refrigerator, iron and ironing board. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast and free shuttle to airport included. We left before the breakfast was set up but they had coffee, fruit and muffins set out for early departures (4:30am for us). Very good restaurant and pub on the ground floor with limited selections but everything we had was very tasty. All the employees that helped us were helpful and pleasant, including the restaurant. There is a Costco across the street and it's a 10 minute walk to Burger King/Subway and a 20 minute walk the Union Mall where there are about 10+ Chinese restaurants. I paid $106 CAD plus tax for a dbl room with 2 queen beds. Rooms come in several sizes. My friends had a huge room facing the main road and I had a smaller room on the opposite street. Both were quiet.

This hotel is extremely convenient. Located within 5 minutes of the Airport, The Great Canadian Casino, and the Oak street bridge into Vancouver it's perfectly positioned to provide easy access.

With a facade that would remind you of a building belonging in the Alps the interior matches with a certain warmth that makes staying here extra comfortable.

Pricing is very decent and this is one I recommend whenever out of town guests visit.

The hotel has a nice warm feeling to it. All the staff were helpful in every way. My wife and I had a tasteful supper in the small friendly pub, was more then we expected, nice to go to a pup where it's quiet and you can have a conversation. The hotel is located by lots of shopping, IKEA, Costco ect. My wife and I decided we would be staying here again if in the area, not a problem there. They have my vote!

We stayed at the Abercorn because we could leave our car while we flew off to Mexico for a worry-free holiday. In booking we liked the price and location so gave it a try. We found the hotel to be comfortable and the staff pleasant and efficient. We had a meal and some drinks in the pub and they were well prepared and well served. Although we left too early to enjoy the full breakfast that was included, there was a nice enough selection of muffins and pastries and some good coffee available at the very early hour we departed. Our car did not sustain any damage in our absence and the logistics of retrieving it were pain free. The shuttle service was prompt and pleasant. We will stay here the next time we travel via Vancouver Airport.
