Guest Reviews of the Vancouver Airport Marriott

After an Easter vacation visiting family and sleeping in guestrooms and
hide-a-beds we were in Vancouver longer to attend a friend's wedding. We
thought we would take this time to stay at a comfortable place to be
fresh for the wedding and recharge before going home. The hotel provided
the service that I would expect from Marriott. Friendly staff, helpful
and welcoming, however there was some confusion as to the rate we had
booked. That had gotten sorted out effectively, but when we got to our
room, we were surprised to find the previous guests' fruit tray still on
the desk, and even more surprised to find their panties still in the
drawer! The staff was quick to change our room and moved our bags for
us. I was just disappointed that the hot tub was under repair, and that
internet was $12/day and parking was $11/day.
Luckily we were so busy with the wedding and had a great time there, and
the Marriott restaurant and bar staff were great, the beds are comfy
that it made the stay worth while. Though even at the discounted rate I
didn't feel like I was getting the value for my dollar. |
