Spent 1 night here after flying from UK. Hotel is quite a way from the Airport but has a regular shuttle service. Standard airport hotel with clear reasonable rooms, as a Hilton Gold Member receive upgrade to executive room with separate sitting area. Continental breakfast complimentary due to Gold Status was OK. Bar area is small but barman was friendly and good local beer on tap.

I was very happy with my stay in summer 2008 so I went back in 2009. Reserved another junior suite for just a few $$ above the regular room rate. My room was on 11th floor facing the mountains with a great view. I love the two rooms, it is quieter having an outer living room with a second door into the bedroom. I ordered room service three times and each time it was very prompt. Housekeeping did a great job. I only have two very minor complaints - my bed was not as comfy as some high end hotels. This was not a 'heavenly bed' and seemed a bit hard with a rather modest mattress pad. Still this was not such a big issue for me. The other issue was lack of wifi, although I did use the in room ethernet. Still I like to sit with my laptop in bed and I can not do that at this hotel. Also the gym was small - with only one elliptical, one treadmill, one bike, and some freeweights. That said, I was the only one in the gym each day I used it so its smallness was not a problem. I liked having a tv attached to the ellipitcal trainer. Overall I love the Hilton Vancouver Airport, it's one of my favorite travel hotels in the last two years especially with the lower cost junior suite and the ease of getting from there to UBC and to the airport. I have no need to go downtown with all that traffic and this hotel works for me. Room service prices were reasonably modest compared to some higher end hotels. With the Westin coming in shortly for the Olympics, I might be tempted to stay there next time since I love Westin and the heavenly bed. But if the hilton prices itself right I could see going back there over the new Westin coming into the area, especially with those junior suites at Hilton.

The hotel is comfortable and fairly quiet (some airport noise, but not obtrusive). It is served by a regular shuttle bus at 30 min intervals and is about 15-20 minutes away from the terminal itself. I was over-nighting and left before breakfast so cannot comment on the food service. An excellent choice for an overnight stay, but it is a good distance from Vancouver city centre so would not suit a traveller to Vancouver.

The hotel was pretty close to the airport and the folks at the reception area were helpful enough. The room was comfortable and clean, which was great. I was there for both work and leisure so the hotel provided necessary rest and relaxation. Reliable and pleasant personnel and the amenities were expected from business hotels. I would go back if I had to stay in Richmond again.

Free airport shuttle, convenient for mall and clean well decorated rooms. No free internet in rooms. Clean, well decorated and quick access from airport via the free shuttle bus: since none are walk able, might as well be in Richmond town with convenient access to shops and restaurants. Rooms well equipped, apart from kettle, though in our room less than exciting.

I got stuck in Vancouver over night and this was my second choice after the Fairmont was full. The free airport shuttle took a while but still it was free. The room felt a little bit small but it was still a great corner unit with a balcony and view of the airport.

Getting a suite on next to top floor. My children loved it. Very good value. My three young children loved the idea of having their own room and TV. The balcony is nicely appointed, with good view of the airport and planes landing: the kids thought that was pretty cool. The staff was quite helpful and friendly. My children want us to stay at this hotel next year.

The staff was very helpful.
Room/Service: We arrived in the evening before a cruise departure the following day. Hotel shuttle picked us up promptly from the airport and took us to the hotel. Check-in by the receptionist was quick at the reception desk. We were given the King bed standard room that we had requested. The room had a very large (40-42'?) HD TV. Room was very clean

I would stay at this Richmond hotel again if I need to be close to the Vancouver airport hotel. Good service, clean rooms

There was no hotel shuttle to the cruise ship ports but an outside vendor provided shuttle service from the hotel to the ports. Because the shuttle stops at 4-6 hotels in the Richmond area it took just under an hour to get to the port. If I had it to do over again I would stay at a hotel closer to the cruise port.

about 5 - 10 minutes from the airport. good solid hotel, nice comfortable suite, huge LG flat screen TVs. living area decor a little dated. small gym. small rooftop pool. convenient parking in the attached parkade.

the train is scheduled to complete construction around Aug/Sept so this would be convenient to access downtown and other areas. we were here in July and noticed that they were doing a lot of test runs. otherwise a rental car is a must if you decide to stay here.

noticed a Westin being built in the area, so that would be a nice option to have for the Richmond/airport area.

The Hilton Vancouver Airport was simply put, a very good airport hotel. I never took the them to sit down and review this place since May (when the stay took place) but thought I should since it provided good quality and the staff was very helpful and genuine.

Room/Service: Booked it with www.allure-hotels.com  for a fairly early morning flight. We were dropped off by a friend around 7 p.m for check-in and the cheerful agent at the reception desk gave us the choice of a standard room with 2 beds far away from the elevators or a suite right in front of them. I took the risk of the suite. Quite frankly, I'm glad I did. We had a very large room with a separate living room and bedroom area. Both the bedroom and living room had a very large (40-42'?) HD TV with much more channels than usually offered in upscale hotels, at no charge. Bathroom was very clean with good water pressure, a small make-up mirror and full-size hairdryer. The beds were firm but comfortable but ours weren't pillowtops, just a standard mattress with a mattress topper to make it softer.

Facilities: Nice outdoor pool area that was very clean and secure. It was a little cold the night of our stay to the indoor hot tub was appreciated. Nice fitness room featuring the latest Precor equipment but NOT 24 hrs which is not good for an airport hotel. This Hilton has a business center with modern computers that give you FREE internet access which wins an A++ from me as so many Hiltons, Marriotts and the likes charge for this still ridiculously expensive fees. Overall, a nice facility, well maintained which was obviously renovated (or built) a little while ago (10 -15 years ago would be a good estimate) but far from being shabby. Airport shuttle was on-time with a courteous driver.

Overall, I would certainly choose this Richmond hotel again If I needed an airport hotel in the Vancouver area. Good, friendly service with a sense of humor and clean rooms are the strong points, if you can overlook the limited hours of the fitness centre and guest rooms that are starting to show their age.

This hotel has a certain high level of service that quite frankly is surprising for a Hilton (unless the chain has really improved) or a room that costs $160.
The good:
They upgraded me with no argument and a smile. The front desk says 'yes' and 'no problem' to everything. The taller Oriental gentleman and the young blond lady at the desk are fantastic. Floor to ceiling windows give you a great view that Fairmont would envy. The food is above average (especially because it's all Chinese food nearby) as is the service in the restaurant. Wifi and business centre in the lobby are free. The small shop in the lobby is manned by a genuinely funny lady. Did I mention this hotel is extra clean even in the fitness area/hot tub? They have a tennis court and you can take an express bus to the city from the back. Great flat screen TV, bathroom amenities and free newspapers. I needed to sow my button back on and they had a kit at the desk.
The bad: no WIFI on any floor. Internet is extra (free next door). Parking is not free (just park on the side roads nearby). Not exactly at the airport but a 10 minute drive away.

Honestly, why stay anywhere else? Bye-bye Delta and Fairmont. Hello Hilton!

The service here is incredible. The receptionists, shop owner, room delivery gentleman and the cleaning lady are all in a good mood, smiling and genuinely happy to oblige. Do these people get paid above average or is there a corporate kool-aid here??

Excellent service with a smile. All employees had a smile on their face and were eager to assist.

Hotel food services was excellent however was somewhat overpriced! Rooms were excellent...clean, comfortable beds and Flat panel TV's in each room. Close to a shopping mall.

We have stayed at the Hilton Vancouver Airport twice now, once for a 4 day conference and once for a stay after coming into the airport with our 4 kids. We had been booked into another hotel by our credit card company but we cancelled it as it was terrible and went back to the Hilton instead what a relief! The beds and pillows are to die for!!!! Great service by the front counter when we needed 2 rooms at the last minute, really friendly and very helpful!!!! Highly recommend.
