Front Desk staff are poorly trained and had time finding my
reservation depsite calling them direct. No one was apologetic
and had a "whatever" approach. Hotel rooms are just average and
hotel has supplemental charges for everything. Restaurant menu
was boring and there were many other options nearby. Expected
more from a Hilton. Too many other options to consider them
again

Front desk person was very helpful and nice.
Very clean room.
You can get free pass for local gym for work out.
Many shopping place and restaurants are walking distance.
Only thing I didn't like was no free internet in the hotel room,
but prenty coffee shop and cafe offer free internet
access near by.

Hilton Vancouver Airport Hotel is close to the Airport. But not
so close you could walk there! We had a king executive suite
with a sleeper sofa. Complimentary coffee in the room and a
great little balcony - (it was a corner suite). My husband could
smoke out here without bothering anyone. The hotel has a free
shuttle to the airport which we utilized in the morning to go to
the airport. The rooms were clean and spacious. There is a free
casino shuttle that stops at the hotel but the hotel front desk
people didn't seem to know the times so we took a cab - it was
only $8.00 one way. On the way back we took the casino free
shuttle to the Mall and walked the one and a half blocks back to
the hotel. It was very close. We then walked around the corner a
block or 2 and ate at a very good Greek restaurant. It was
delicious. On our way there, a irish pub had a store that sold
beer/liquor which we went into. WOW! The prices are outrageous -
at least more so than at home. Overall, Vancouver is a wonderful
city and I would return. Downtown is pretty far away from this
hotel - so ask the cab fare before you go! By the way, we stayed
here on the return from a cruise. The cruise port is a nightmare
and we grabbed a company offering a tour in the 2 hour cab line
from the cruise port. Good Luck!!

Booked a room here for my parents and was delighted - room
looked and felt like a boutique hotel, complete with separate
sitting room and bedroom areas. Terrific security (no access to
elevators without a keycard) and front desk staff were terrific.
$11.95 per day for internet access was a bit of a let-down, as
was paying for parking, but the terrific room made up for it.
Centrally located for Richmond, easy access to Vancouver, and
convenient for the airport.

Stayed for two nights. Rooms were OK but were a little dated and
stuffy. Car parking is extra $10/night. There are buses a short
walk away that go into the city but is a bit of a hassle.
Airport tpt goes regularly from the hotel but airport is some
distance away. Great pub nearby called Foggy Dew for a beer/bar
meals. Some shopping centres in walking distance too. Staff
couldnt have been better and made our stay - Thx |
