Compared to the comfort inn down the street, this place was
slightly cheaper and welcoming. The room was cozy with the
standard big box tv and the view of the neighboring
hotel--stinky free. It's about a 5 minute drive from golden
village Chinatown and most of the dwellers were coming
from/going to the airport nearby. There's an open computer next
to the receptionist to search for any last minute stops or
whatever. The self serve continental breakfast offered cheese
omelets, muffins, scones, toast, bagels and canned fruit. Not
too shabby and very clean. |

We stayed here for one night and booked because of the close
location to the airport! It was clean, and comfy! One thing about
Hamptons is you know what you are going to get...a clean comfortable
room at a fair price no unpleasant surprises. We booked a smoking room,
and I the non-smoking spouse was pleasantly pleased that it was not
oppressively full of stale cigarette smoke! They freshen and deodorize
rooms very well!
We checked in early, and they accommodated us promptly, and without a
hassle. Recommended a good place nearby to eat- The Boat House
Restaurant, which was very close and VERY good!
Breakfast was good, and included in the price of the room-nothing
exceptional, but good!
Would not hesitate to stay there again, and recommend it fully! |

I hadn't stayed in a Hampton Inn before, but I always see they get such
great reviews so I had my expectations set pretty high. I maybe,
incorrectly, assumed them to be a bit above a Holiday Inn Express but
this proved a bit of a dud.
Location-wise, we chose it because it was the right side of Vancouver
for the ferry but it's also very close to the airport.
The staff are friendly and check-in was efficient. We were given the
code for the free wi-fi on our key card which was really handy.
The room was a little small, there seemed to be lots of big furniture
and was dated. The bedspread had a dirty mark on it but the rest of the
bedding was clean and fresh.
The bathroom was clean but the wallpaper was peeling off the walls and
there was a horrible disinfectant smell which wafted through the room.
The breakfast was awful. When I got down at 9.30am there were discarded
plates all over the tables - no one had bothered to clear away and the
only person on duty either hadn't bothered or didn't have the time.
There weren't any pastries/muffins left, the coffee had run out and it
all looked plastic and inedible. The only hot items were eggs and hash
browns which looked a bit dodgy.
We did get a nice takeaway from the Italian Tomato which is over the
road (huge portions, only needed to order one portion for two of us).
Don't think I'd come back here but I guess most people only stay for one
night on their way to and from the airport. |

My husband and I stayed at the Hampton Inn Vancouver Airport just for
one night following our long trip. The hotel has free and convenient
airport shuttle, it is on a good location with restaurants near by for a
light dinner. The room was very comfortable with a big bed and very
clean bathroom. Free internet in the room. Continental breakfast
included and with an OK selection, good for an airport hotel. The staff
was friendly and helpful. I will stay there again if I need a convenient
airport hotel that provides comfort for a reasonable price. |

Fantastic hotel located in Richmond, BC. We redeemed our Hilton Honors
points to get a complimentary night stay at this Hampton Inn Vancouver
Airport - Richmond. It's quite near to the Richmond Chinatown area and
also to the River Rock Casino. Loved Kelong Restaurant - great Singapore
and Malaysian food!
The hotel has impeccable service and made sure we had a comfortable
stay. The breakfast was not too bad and why not, 'cos it's free!
Internet service was great too! |

The front desk clerks were very friendly and informative. I stayed for
only two nights and so had one afternoon to see the city. They suggested
Stanley Park, which overlooked the snow capped mountains. Great choice
and knowledge by the staff. Room and breakfast was the usual Hampton
Style. Hotel is 5 minutes from the airport but you can't tell due to the
quietness of the hotel.
