Just a warning to those who are coming to the Olympics, or just
coming to stay. Make sure you check that you have all of your
belongings with you when you check out or that might be the last
you'll see of them. We stayed overnight on our way to Puerto
Vallarta. Were gone only 1 week and had reservations to stay
here again on our return. As soon as I got on our flight to
Mexico I realized that I had left my expensive earrings on the
bedside table. Knowing we were going to be back in 1 week, I
decided to wait to notify the hotel when we got back. In fact
the night we arrived back to the Day's Inn, I told the front
desk, who immediately began digging through plastic bags of
forgotten belongs . . . it was late at night. I asked that they
continue to look and we'll chat in the morning. Well, many weeks
later, I had to begin calling the Days Inn about my earrings.
After numerous calls, the manager contacted me telling me that I
probably did have them-just couldn't find them, that she trusted
her staff (although she had already told me that she had just
taken over) End result my earring were not being returned- all I
can assume is that they were stolen by housekeeping staff. So I
highly recommend using their safe, and make sure you don't leave
anything behind. This is very, very disappointing. I have
friends who own a hotel, and they even keep and return single
socks if they are left behind! I can overlook many things when
it comes to accommodation, but theft is not one of them. Very,
very disappointing. Especially for a hotel in Vancouver.

Keep in mind it is a Days Inn but you will not find a property
that try's harder to make people happy. Check-in/out is
efficient, breakfast is basic but fresh, property is clean and
well maintained. I have stayed in fancier hotels but I don't
remember being treated this well.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times both as a solo traveler and
with family and my g/f, as I travel to Vancouver alot from Victoria and
I find this hotel is a great place to stay and it's fairly cheap with
excellent, clean and comfortable rooms. I have never had a problem with
this hotel on any stay as we have had problems with a few other Days
Inn's we have stayed at. It is also very close to the airport and we did
use the shuttle to the airport one stay and we very pleased we could
leave our vehicle at the hotel for 4 days while in Vegas as we stayed
there on our way back too. I introduced my g/f to this hotel while she
was in Vancouver and she agreed that this is an excellent hotel. The
beds are really comfortable and there is no problem with noise being
close to the airport. All in all great hotel, and I will definately be
back there again next time I need to stay in Vancouver. Also they have a
great breakfast which is really good too!!

We stayed here during the final night of a longer trip visiting
Vancouver and surrounding areas, and were incredibly impressed with what
the Days Inn offered. With a flight home the following morning, we
simply needed somewhere to stay which was close to the airport, but
comfortable rooms and a helpful and extremely friendly nature of the
staff contributed to making the stay enjoyable. The price, already good
value, included breakfast and parking, which most other hotels we looked
into charged extra for. Breakfast was a buffet, and even included a
waffle maker, allowing us to make our own waffles!
Whilst there didn't seem to be a huge amount of places close by to grab
a meal, there's a couple of fast food places just across the road, along
with a Starbucks, and one or two other options within a couple of
minutes drive down Bridgeport Road (travelling away from the airport).
It's not a luxury 5 star hotel, but it's main purpose is clearly to
serve those arriving or departing Vancouver via the nearby airport. For
what we needed, it was absolutely perfect, and very good value.

We arrived very late due to flight delay, but we was very lucky with
this choice!
Very closed to the airport but so quiet, kind staff, good room and very
comfortable bed, covered parking and free high-speed internet access.
A based breakfast is included with greats pancakes !!!

Well informed front desk with maps for restaurants nearby, wake-up for
6:00 AM flights, local attractions well described, very accommodating.
Clean hotel with clients always put as first priority. Perfect for
pre-flight stay!!

Since we had to catch an early plane, we missed the free breakfast. It
would be a nice gesture for the management to accommodate such guests
(and there were others) by making some stuff available for a nearly grab
(or pack a boxed snack). Another inconvenience is the lack of a nearby
restaurant.

In Vancouver for Alaskan cruise and tour of Victoria. Convenient
location to airport and ferry. Hotel airport shuttle runs every half
hour. Left jacket on departure shuttle and driver brought it back with
next shuttle and got out of van to bring to me. This hotel knows how to
treat guests and make their stay pleasant with service over the top, as
in a 5 star hotel. Highly recommend Fresh coffee all day and evening.
Continental breakfast with waffles. Recommend for all reasons but mostly
courteous, helpful staff who knew area well with recommendations of
things to do, best ways to get there with estimated costs, so tourist
knew what to expect. Even asked our rate on check-in after midnight to
be sure taxi did not take advantage of tourist. Recommended to get
receipt and tag number in case we left something in cab/van. We were
tired, traveled all day and wanted to get to bed. Check-in was a breeze.
Accommodated elderly with scooter and went above and beyond in every
way. Stayed extra day on busy week for cruise lines and did not have to
move. Very quiet and restful even during the day with A/C repairs just
outside our door. Excellent small family Mediterranean restaurant across
street, others within walking distance.

Location is very close to airport, but there was no problem with the
noise level. We stayed one night because our flight got in in the
evening and we were taking the ferry the next morning. Front desk staff
was warm and friendly. Room was a bit shabby, but very clean (much more
important). The bed was extremely comfortable. The included breakfast
was more than adequate.

We stayed at the Days Inn Richmond BC. It is very close to the airport (YVR).
Fast & very friendly check in. Our room was spacious and clean. We had a
room with two queen beds on the second floor. The only problem was it
was next to the staff room. So about 6am the cleaning staff started
their day so it was a bit noisy. After our free breakfast buffet we
asked for a change of rooms and were moved to the sixth floor. it was
much quieter.
This hotel was easy to find and just off a major street. We were about 5
mins from the Richmond Ikea and Knight Street market.
For our room (2 queen beds) the price was $144/night all taxes in. Very
good deal.
A free bus to the River Rock casino was available.

we could not find a room at reasonable price in downtown Vancouver.
Location is not great if you want to be close to everything, but the
quality was great and so was the price.

We spent 2 nights at the Richmond Days Inn and were very pleased with
every aspect of our visit. For the price (CAA Discount) of $80 plus
taxes, we had arguably the most comfortable hotel beds we had ever
experienced, a very clean and well appointed room and a fully acceptable
continental breakfast.
The desk staff were very helpful. I can count on one hand the number of
times in 30 years of business travel when the desk called our room an
hour or so after check-in to ask if everything was okay.
If you're looking for fancy with a view, this isn't your place, but if
you want excellent accommodation with an excellent night's sleep at a
very reasonable price this hotel is worth considering seriously.

This is a great hotel for the price. The room was clean and nice. The
continental breakfast offered way more than what is often offered at
other hotels. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.
Also great location since it is close to the airport and stores.

I have stayed here 4 times in the past 4 years and it is always
excellent value. Great choice for a quick stopover when flying out of
YVR. The beds are very comfortable, staff always friendly and helpful,
and rooms very clean. Free breakfast is very good.

Upon arrival, we were met and made welcome by the very cheerful and
friendly Desk Staff. They answered all questions we had and, ensured we
were satisfied with our room.
We very pleased with the cleanliness and cheerfulness of the Hotel.
As I am in Vancouver quite often on business and experienced quite a few
hotels, I decided to make your Days Inn Vancouver Airport, my choice on
business. Thank you for the Excellent Customer Service!

I stopped over for one night in Vancouver while traveling between
Toronto and Australia to get a one night rest on the way. I lost a few
hours sleep as a result of some noise when I was hoping to be ready for
my long flights the next day.
On the other hand the staff were generally friendly, and when I reported
the noise problems they seemed to do something about it. Otherwise there
is little else to distinguish this hotel from any other airport hotel.
The rooms are clean and not too shabby. The complimentary breakfast was
satisfactory. The location close to the airport is really convenient,
and there is a free shuttle. There's not much around this hotel except
some other airport hotels and a few shops.

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at the Day's Inn Vancouver
Airport for one night.
I've been in the Tourism Industry all my life and must say we were very
impressed by the team you have.
We arrived unannounced at 1a.m. to a smiling and and helpful gentleman
who insured our requests were met to the best of his ability including
letting me know some haste was in order as the closing time of the
establishment recommended was fast approaching. Not stopping there he
recommended a second choice with a later closing.
After a restful sleep we inquired with the house keeper for another hair
blower as ours was not working. To the best of her ability she attempted
to help till her co worker arrived. Once realizing he could not get our
hairdryer to work either promptly got us another one and left us with a
genuine apology on behalf of your house.
Once in the lobby for breakfast we felt well looked after by your whole
staff who ensured any need we may have had would be met. You yourself
left your desk to come to our aid though we'd been so well looked after
we had no needs.

Excellent hotel, very clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent
and very helpful and the breakfasts were good. Overall an excellent stay
and close to the airport. There is a free shuttle which runs every half
hour or so, and a shuttle to the casino, but that is only a 5 minute
walk away.

I chose this hotel on reviews and wasn't disappointed. We
were looking for something close to the casino and this hotel was about
a 100 meters walk, they also have a free shuttle. The rooms were nice
and quiet, the beds were really comfy and they have a computer with free
internet in the room, first time I have come across that in a hotel of
this price. There are so many great things about this hotel but the one
thing that really stands out is the staff, I stayed 3 days and every
staff member I spoke with was friendly and helpful, the reception staff
went out of there way to accommodate my requests, there was a friendly
lady helping out with breakfast that was only to happy to make me a
waffle and even the hotel cat was friendly.
You can keep looking but I will be surprised if you find a better hotel
for the price.

Absolutely the best Days Inn I have ever stayed at - and we were only
there from about 8 PM until 4:20 AM the next day. Friendly (not just
courteous - FRIENDLY!) staff, and breakfast laid out at 4 AM for our
early (!!!) departure to the airport. Absolutely clean room, bathroom.
Very comfortable bed... Wish I could have another reason to go stay
there!
