Stay at this property over 2 nights, one on our way to vacation and once on the
way home. Picked this hotel as we had 6 am departures from Vancouver
International Airport, and this hotel had 24 hour shuttle service. Making the
reservation, checking in and out were so easy and fast. Room was fine, bed was
super comfortable and I slept like a log. Wifi was great and free.
I would definitely stay here again when flying through Vancouver!

Room excellent, looking east and very clean, quiet. Went to restaurant on site
overlooking water, great food and service Very good overall value for price.
Premises and staff excellent. Shuttle servcie to/from airport worked very well.

There was nothing special about this stay the night before an early flight. It
was showing signs of wear and tear and the bathtub drain had all kinds of mould
around it. The bed was comfortable. This hotel was in close proximity to the
airport and the shuttle ran every 20 minutes. I'm not sure it would be my first
pick next time but it will do for a quick overnight stay.

We were booked to stay in Seattle but when our airline cancelled our flight and
delayed us we ended up rerouting to Vancouver instead. As we boarded our flight
in Sydney I looked for an airport hotel n Vancouver so we had somewhere to go
while we reorganised the first few days of our itinerary before heading up to
Whistler. I chose the Gateway Pacific quickly as it looked fairly well reviewed.
It turned out to be a great choice - lucky for us. Free shuttle from the airport
every 20 minutes - friendly, fast, clean and reliable. Our room was ready on
arrival - a one bedroom suite for the four of us - kids on the queen sized pull
out as just for one night - us in a separate bedroom. A surprisingly spacious
apartment. Perhaps a bit spartan - couldn't make tea or coffee - but both were
available downstairs. Very clean and comfortable though and all slept well and
were on the time zone and ready to go the next morning. We've now resumed our
vacation as planned by driving down to Seattle so we are back on track. As we
are becoming regulars in Whistler I'd consider overnighting at the Gateway
Pacific a really smart start to the trip to adjust to the timezone and then head
up the mountain when you are rested from the long haul flight and ready to ski.
We also had dinner in their Pier 73 restaurant which was really good. No airport
noise that we noticed and come the morning we were back on the free shuttle to
the airport to collect our hire car and on with our vacation as planned before
the airline mucked us around. We'll be overnighting there again on our way back
and are looking forward to it. As we didn't need much luggage for our two nights
in Seattle the Gateway Pacific is kindly storing two suitcases and our skis free
of charge until our return. Highly recommend it if you need a quick layover in
Vancouver before heading elsewhere.

We stayed overnight at the Pacific Gateway Vancouver Airport Hotel... we were
catching a plane from Vancouver to Toronto the next day.. The hotel and staff
were awesome... The bar was closed by the time we arrived... I so felt like a
glass of wine... it was no problem, they sent it to my room, much appreciated!!!
Room was Gorgeous and very upscale...wish I could have stayed longer!!
Didn't hear any airport noise considering we were so close!! Highly Recommend

My 40th birthday weekend, respite from my disabled child, and the staff couldn't
be more helpful, the restaurant was very clean and had good choices.
Our rooms were well appointed, everything worked, was clean and well decorated
in a modern style.
In house breakfast was very very busy when we visited, which I think accounts
for the errors in our order (which were very quickly fixed)
Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The Pacific Gateway Vancouver Airport Hotel is a great place to overnight when
making connections out of YVR. Shuttle running between airport and hotel several
times per hour. Rooms and suites are very comfortable. The food in the dining
room is very good, we sat on the deck and watched the adjoining harbour.
Breakfast is not included with the room and is a little pricy at $18 for what
most hotels and motels include with the cost of the room. Good desk staff, and
several languages were spoken.
