Guest Reviews of the Days Inn Vancouver Airport

I have stayed in tons of hotels around Richmond and Vancouver. This place is
great. Breakfast is on the better side of decent for a hotel. Plus there is a
cat that hangs out in the lobby. A stray but when you miss your own, this is
awesome. The parking lot is tucked up under the hotel but it isn't too safe. I
was told more than once to take EVERYTHING of any value up to my room. I abided
and I was fine. It is a shady sort of neighborhood. But as a single woman
traveling solo, I felt safe. The rooms were clean and so were the bathrooms.
Good stuff.

I stayed twice at the days over the period of a month (July, August which
included public holidays). I booked on the internet and found Jeremy to be
extremely helpful, quick responses to my emails (considering time zones)
especially providing information about the shuttle from the Airport ( every 30
minutes) which was great. As I was traveling alone from Australia I was so
pleased when I arrived and received a warm welcome from Jeremy at reception. The
other reception staff were also very helpful.
The room was great, very clean, quiet, quite large as it had 2 queen size beds,
my bed was very comfortable and above all I had six comfortable pillows to
choose from , lots of towels, ironing board and iron, fridge, coffee making in
room.
I really enjoyed the breakfast and was extremely happy with the selection fresh
fruit, juice, cereal, toast, waffles, tea or coffee. The lady in the breakfast
room was always very helpful and friendly and I felt happy to see me.
I used the skytrain which you could catch to the airport, to go into Vancouver,
to the Waterfront and Canada Place, you can buy a day ticket. I was very pleased
with my stay and would certainly stay there again and would recommend it to
others.

We stayed at the Days Inn 2 years ago. So we decided to stay here again.
Our room was very clean & VERY quiet. For travelers it is super close to YVR the
Vancouver Airport. They have a shuttle running quite often to get you there and
back.
Close to Tim Horton, Ikea, and Knight Street market.
Continental breakfast is served until 9:30am but is sometimes busy.

This is the first Days Inn we’ve stayed at and although we had doubts when we
booked a room for one night in August, we did so based on the overall
compliments the hotel had received on this site. We weren’t disappointed. Our
room was clean, the parking and breakfast were complimentary, the location close
to the airport, main roads out of Vancouver and the city’s Canada Line
convenient and the bed the most comfortable we slept in throughout out 3.5 week
stay in BC/Alberta. Additional bonuses included the waffles served at breakfast,
the message left on our answering machine enquiring whether we were satisfied
with our room/stay, the friendly staff at check-in, and the use of a in-room
computer and a fridge. This is by no means a grand hotel (the lobby is a little
tired and the breakfast is largely stodgy), but we enjoyed a very good night’s
sleep, were made to feel right at home and found our way easily into and out of
Vancouver using both public transport and a car. We have stayed at a number of
other hotels near the airport over the years and all of them were much pricier
with much less personable staff/service. The Vancouver airport’s Days Inn was
the best (quality-price wise) stay on our whole trip and is perfect for guests
wishing to avoid the overpriced hotels of downtown Vancouver. We will definitely
be staying there again and would recommend it to anyone.

Booked this hotel through here for a one night stay in before flying out of YVR.
we paid $110 inc tax (aprox £66) and for the money you can't really fault this
place, other than the slightly dodgy and dark walk after sunset to the transit
skyline station - which is only 5 mins walk away! YVR itself is <10 mins free
shuttle bus journey away!
Staff were excellent, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms were huge, well
equipped and clean. Free breakfast was great with lots of choice - toast,
bagels, pastries, fruit, waffles, coffee and juice.
