The devil is in the details for hotels, and this one is a bit devilish. The bed was fine, it was mostly clean, but the in-room safe did not work and the internet was set up so you had to sit at the desk to use it with an Ethernet cord, which means my IPad couldn't go online. Also, there were undisclosed fees when we arrived, $8 per day for internet, $10 for parking, and $1 for local phone calls even if you get a busy signal. On the plus side, the bath robes I requested were delivered promptly. The cable TV was minimal, virtually no channels available. Overall, hotel is becoming shabby, and I will look for a different hotel on my next trip to Vancouver.

This hotel is totally fabulous! Upon arrival, I was checked in within 5 minutes and on my way to the room. The guys at the front desk were friendly, professional and extremely helpful in answering my questions. The room was large, with a separate bedroom and views of the mountains. Being tired, I ordered room service..........the meal was one of the best ever in a hotel. When in Vancouver, I highly recommend this property, especially if traveling solo. The elevator requires your room key to operate and also, the entrance to my room was a double entrance requiring keys also. Enough cannot be said about the overall experience!

We went to YVR to celebrate our anniversary. The Hilton gave us a great rate and upgraded us to a suite when we told them we were celebrating our 25th anniversary. They later send up to our room chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. Within a block away there is the white spot restraint. We ate there twice for breakfast. It was very good. Back to the Hilton, room was nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable. They do charge 13/ night to park your car. Internet and use of computers in lobby is free. They charge fir internet in the room.

A 10 minute shuttle ride from YVR to this Hilton & most better airport hotels. The Hilton shares the parking garage with a Marriott so you have 2 good hotels next to each other for a change of pace. We got to the Front Desk fairly late (9 PM) but the on-premise restaurant was serving until 10 which was great, too late for us to be searching for someplace to eat. A friendly waiter served our Fish & Chips and Cobb Salad which hit the spot. Our sleeping room on the 16th floor was a nice size and decorated nicely with comfortable beds, plenty of fluffy towels. Once again, though, we were given a room way down at the end of the corridor...I wonder if hotels see us coming & save those rooms for us? By now we should know better and ask for something closer to the elevator when checking in.

I stay at the Hilton Vancouver Airport about once per quarter because of its close proximity to YVR and our customer site.

Each time I have stayed here the rooms have been spacious, always upgraded to a mini suite. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy.

One major gripe is the internet. There is no wireless access in the rooms. That would be nice since the lan cable is located in another room. The internet is not free, I believe it was 11 Canadian. Expensive but necessary for business travelers.

Parking can be a bit of an issue if you have a larger vehicle. The entry to the parking garage is rather small and I have "almost" colided with a few cars.

I have not had breakfast in the restaurant but I have eaten dinner and lunch and both were very good. Bar staff at the Sax are very friendly.

This hotel is within walking distance of a mall, many restaurants, Starbucks (next door in the Sheraton) and pretty much anything you need during your stay.

This hotel is pricey; not an overall good value. I skipped the work travel agent and booked directly through HHonors. By prepaying my stay I saved quite a bit.

Other Pros: Nice gym, free airport transportation.
I like consistency so I will continue to stay here.
