Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Express Vancouver Airport

This hotel was what I expected from a Holiday Inn Express. Friendly and helpful
staff, clean room, secure guest parking, breakfast every morning. Located in a
great area near the airport with many shops and restaurants. Right off of a main
road so getting anywhere in the Vancouver area was fairly easy. Next time I am
in the area I will be staying here.

Close to airport with shuttle service. Found the rooms on the small side. Room
was quiet, but AC only cooled the room so much (I like a cool room to sleep).
Breakfast was okay, usual HIE spread. Staff was polite.

This is probably one of the best hotels to stay at when you're catching an early
flight. It has all the standard features of a Holiday Inn Express, among them
perfectly fine rooms with modern furnishings, a nice big tv and sound proof
windows. On top of that, you should find a room at a very affordable rate, get
free breakfast and WiFi and are looked after by very friendly staff. Rooms are
clean and spacious.
A very convenient shuttle runs pretty much all day and gets you to Vancouver
Airport in little under 15 minutes. The hotel itself can be reached by public
transport if you want, from the Skytrain station at Bridgeport it's more or less
a ten minute walk.
That being said, there's really not much to do in and around the hotel, although
you'll find a very decent and affordable restaurant within the Best Western
across the street. For midnight munchies, there's always the gas station on the
corner :)

We have stayed in a few Holiday Inns now and they are all of a high standard.
This particular hotel is located in a busy suburb of Vancouver close to the
airport. This is the sort of location that I would not stay in if I was on a
holiday, but it is certainly handy to the airport for departures and arrivals.
This is also helped by the fact that there is a free shuttle to and from the
airport. There is a little road noise and I did hear some aircraft, but the
level of noise was low and certainly did not annoy us. The rooms are all on the
one side of the building, with the free-way on the opposite side of the building
meaning you don't get free-way noise at all. There is plenty of car parking on
two levels and I was driving a Chevy Suburban which is quite high and did not
have any problems with the height of the car park which I have experienced in
other hotels. Car parking is controlled by swiping your room key as is the
lifts, which I think is a good thing to have as it stops people from roaming the
hotel if they aren't staying here. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a
good selection of items both hot and cold. Staff were friendly and helpful.

we stayed here for one night (4 friends) en route to Whitehorse. the shuttle
service from the airport was convenient, lovely room, comfortable beds, large
bathroom, nice staff all for a good price. Breakfast was beyond what we expected
and the dining area was nice.
