This is a nice, very clean hotel. Staff is friendly. Rooms are large. Bathrooms
updated and very clean.
If you like to be in Richmond or close to the Vancouver airport, this place is
suitable.
Central to Richmond chinatown.
La Quinta has parking, breakfast provided and staff is very friendly and
accommodating.

Good hotel, shuttle driver to and from the airport was very friendly. The room
was clean with comfortable beds and had a recently renovated bathroom with a
great shower. I needed some change for the vending machine to get some bottled
water so I had to go to the lobby quite late at night. There was a strange
creepy man with a guitar ranting on to the poor young night manager about
something so I had to interrupt as he wouldn't stop talking. I think they need
someone to provide security at night to stop weirdos coming in as I didn't feel
very safe in the lobby with some nutter hanging around, luckily they got rid of
him. Breakfast was pretty average but it was complimentary so I just had an
apple and some yoghurt.

We like this hotel, because its good value and location. The hotel is clean and
has the most friendly staff. Its located right in the heart of Richmond. Very
good Chinese restaurants around the hotel, walking distance to the Sky Train and
Shuttle service to the Airport.

We were apprehensive booking this hotel after some of the negative reviews
however at short notice it was the best option and price. I must say I'm a bit
confused with some of the reviews and wonder if they're nitpicking at what can
only be described as a good hotel with good service and all at a great price!! I
mean what do people expect given the price?? We were met at the reception by a
very efficient and welcoming young girl, our room was clean, bright and well
equipped with the usual coffee machine, fridge and flat screen tv. The beds were
extremely comfortable and both of us slept well, breakfast was fully stocked and
set us up for the rest of the day with cereal, yogurt, the usual pastries and
hot breakfast items. Although the shuttle wasn't available we were promptly
provided with a taxi straight to the airport at not extra cost to ourselves. All
in all a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying again.

I needed a good-value hotel with proximity to the airport. I don't drive and I
had to catch a flight the next morning.
I stayed on July 3, 2011. I found the front desk staff to be very helpful, both
on check-in and check-out, and also when I asked for a directions to a nearby
business.
