Nice little pool and exercise room. Great staff. Park your vehicle and
take the shuttle to the airport. Nice quiet building.

This is a Holiday Inn express. It is only 3 yrs old and is in an area of
development right now but it is a good place to stay for a few days. You
will need a car because it is a bit out of the way and not that close to
Vancouver, however Richmond has all that is required for the traveller
and shopper. The rooms are large and very nice. We had a king size bed
that was comfortable and the bathroom only had a shower but was new with
lots of granite and clean. A continental breakfast is also included in
the price and lots of choices for all. It is also quiet considering that
you are in an area of work but once finished, it will be just great. I
would stay there again. The staff is very pleasant and helpful.
We were on the fourth floor and there is only four floors. Very quiet.

This hotel is one of the best stop over hotels we have stayed in.
My wife and I drove from the Interior to Richmond for an early flight to
Cancun, Mexico. We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, Nov. 19th and
were greeted by very friendly and efficient desk staff.
The room was everything you could want, including a jetted tub.
Our wake up call came at 4 A.M. and were greeted by the night staff with
a bag snack consisting of a muffin, apple and a juice because we were
too early for the free breakfast. There was fresh coffee available.
Our car was parked in the long term parking area for the week that we
were gone, for no charge! I must say that this is a BIG advantage. We
were shuttled to the airport and again, seven days later, upon our
return, back to the hotel, directly to our car.
To the management, please give your desk staff my compliments for their
most professional and courteous manner.
If there is one little suggestion that I may have, is, I would replace
the muffin with a sandwich in the bag snack. Many people don't like
sweet things that early in the morning.
Thank you....you will see us again.

Hotel is located far from downtown Vancouver, which is its only
downside. After you understand that and know what to expect, hotel is
wonderful.
The staff were very polite and tried their best to make me feel at home.
Rooms are new, spacious & clean classic Holiday Inn rooms. Shower was
powerful and convenient.
Breakfast is your usual minimal HIE Canada breakfast - a very small but
enough selection.
All in all, a wonderful & affordable choice outside downtown Vancouver.

Apologies to Douglas Adams for the title, but this wonderful hotel is
really a long way from the bustle of the city, and surrounded by acres
(yes, acres) of empty car park. Nearby is a complex of theatres, pubs,
restaurants and sporting venues but at the time of my stay (September)
there was no activity whatsoever, which made for a delightfully relaxing
stay.
The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff falling over themselves to
assist you, has a very good buffet breakfast included in the very
reasonable rate, and a free shuttle to and from Vancouver airport. My
flight left at 02.20 but that was no trouble for the shuttle. And if,
like me you arrive by air and have no transport there is a bus service
that takes you into Richmond shopping centre and to the sky train for
Vancouver.
I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough, despite its apparent
isolation. |
