In March of 1970, the first Old Spaghetti Factory Restaurant in Canada was
opened in the Gastown district of Vancouver, British Columbia. The concept was a
very simple one; take an old warehouse in a historic part of town and fill it
with antiques and artefacts, provide the finest pasta and superb service, to
make an extremely unique dining experience. Our thirteen restaurants across
Canada reflect this concept today. They're all decorated in a nostalgic theme
using genuine antiques, stained glass, tiffany type lights, and usually an
authentic trolley car forming a dining room within a dining room.
The concept proved to be wonderfully successful and was soon taken to other
cities across the country. We are now proud to serve over two million guests
every year. Our newest location, in Abbotsford, BC, opened on October 15th,
2007.
