Check out the Aqua Bus Ferries a fleet of boats that carry passengers from Vancouver to Granville Island and from Granville Island to Yaletown. If you are staying at a Downtown Hotels  it is the perfect way to see a few of Vancouver's most popular Attractions.

The hotel is centrally located in Downtown Vancouver and only a few blocks from Canada Place, the Convention Center or the Cruise Ship Terminal .

Take a bike ride ride around Stanley Park. I rented from Spokes on West Georgia Street. The rental was only around $9. If you visit Vancouver take this bike ride all the way around Stanley Park. (Getting around Stanley Park in Vancouver BC ).You will not be disappointed! It is THE most spectacular bike ride I've ever been on. The ocean views are spectacular!

There is a great little Mediterranean place Scoozis for breakfast or lunch and now I see they are serving Dinner at the corner of Howe and Hastings. Super friendly with real homemade food ! 

Granville Street Entertainment District  is located downtown on what once was Vancouver's Theatre row. It has now been transformed (thanks to the 2010 Vancouver Olympics ) into Vancouver's Club and party place at night with a vibrant shopping and restaurant flavor by day. A people watching place for sure at any one of the sidewalk cafes and bars.

The Wedgewood is a popular Hotel for those visitors coming to Vancouver to see a show as The Centre for Performing Arts, Orpheum Theatre and Queen Elizabeth Theatre are all within walking distance to the Hotel.

If you have a car Granville Island is quite touristy but makes for a fun visit, especially the Market area. Check out the Aqua Bus that carry passengers from Vancouver to Granville Island

If you have a car Shopping South Granville, south of West Broadway has many attractive high end stores, art galleries, stores, boutiques and restaurants.

If you have a car Kitsilano and Kits beach neighborhood, just south and west of downtown, is very trendy and pretty place with some spectacular homes. It has been rated one of the top ten beaches in the world no doubt because of all the beach activities and attractions there.

The refurbished Yaletown area is great to walk around with many interesting high end stores, boutiques and a huge variety of excellent Yaletown Restaurant and cafes ...

Although you would need a car the hotel is close to the PNE Grounds which is home to the Pacific Coliseum, The Fair at the PNE,  Playland, Hastings Race Track, and Hastings Casino

The Hotel is close to Pacific Centre Mall which has over 200 stores and services stretching over three city blocks both above and underground. A great place to shop and escape on a rainy day.
