| Make sure you have a Japanese hotdog at the Vendor at the corner of Burrard and Nelson, there is always a line up and they feature a japadog which has Japanese mayo fried onions teriyaki sauce and slivered seaweed..... to die for ! |
| The refurbished Yaletown area is great to
walk around with many interesting high end stores, boutiques and a huge variety
of excellent Yaletown Restaurant
and cafes ... A couple blocks up the Hotel is close to Pacific Centre Mall which has over 200 stores and services stretching over three city blocks both above and underground. A great place to shop and escape on a rainy day. It connects with Vancouver Centre Mall and major stores Sears and the Bay as well as entrances to Robson and Granville street shopping . Robson runs from the West at Denman Street where you will find the
entrance to Stanley Park
and 18 blocks to the east to the entrance to
BC Place
Stadium and Rogers Arena
. A safe and great stroll anytime of the day or night. The Wedgewood is a popular Hotel for those visitors coming to Vancouver to see a show as The Centre for Performing Arts, Orpheum Theatre and Queen Elizabeth Theatre are all within walking distance to the Hotel. |
