| We were able to walk almost everywhere from here. First day we strolled down to hire bikes and biked the seawall and Stanley park, hop-on hop-off bus just a 2 minute walk, library opposite, food places just surrounding the hotel. Walked to Canada place to catch the float plane, walking to downtown shops and Canada Parade. |

Rosedale is on Robson Street
which means that there was plenty of options for eating with some great
Restaurants, Noodle Bars, Street Food or just about anything else you could
imagine. the shopping consisted of everything from Boutiques to mainstream
favorites. Plenty of people watching here especially from the many Coffee bars
and Bistros.
Robson runs from the West at Denman Street where you will find the entrance to Stanley Park and 18 blocks to the east to the entrance to BC Place Stadium and Rogers Arena . A safe and great stroll anytime of the day or night. There was a great grocery store, called Market Place not that far away for provisions. Not that far from Canada Place for cruise ship departures and all other shops etc within easy distance. Stanley Park was quite a way away but we still walked there. Check out the Aqua Bus Ferries a fleet of boats that carry passengers from Vancouver to Granville Island and from Granville Island to Yaletown, the Granville Island Market is just down the street from the drop-off point. If you are staying at a Downtown Vancouver Hotels it is the perfect transport to see a few of the Cities most popular Attractions. |
