| What else is good: location. IMO, sleeping in the Coal
Harbour area of Vancouver makes a huge difference. I regard Stanley Park
as one of the greatest urban parks in the world, and probably the most
beautiful. The pedestrian/ bicycle trail that joins the Canada Place and
Stanley Park has to be one of the most pleasant walks anywhere. Hotel well located for visits to Stanley park, the Aquarium, shopping (Robson
Street).
Take a bike ride ride around
Stanley Park. The rental was
only around $9. (Getting
around Stanley Park in Vancouver BC ).
I can also see why this hotel is popular with cruises since the location is
close to the terminal. I didn't eat on site, but do recommend
Joe Fortes Seafood & Chop House.
Vancouver is
a fantastic city, and hotel is on the way to everything! it's right next to the
seawall which takes you east to Gastown
and west to Stanley Park.
I walked to the harbour every day and we often ate in restaurants by the water.
There is an CN IMAX
Theatre within walking distance, and we watched the 3D underwater movie
there, it was a very nice date and we looked ridiculous in 3D glasses. It was
worth the money.
