| The
Marriott hotel is centrally located in
Downtown Vancouver and only
a few blocks from
Canada Place, the
Convention Center or
the Cruise Ship
Terminal .
Take a bike ride ride around
Stanley Park. I rented from Spokes on West Georgia Street. The rental was
only around $9. If you visit Vancouver take this
bike ride all the way around Stanley Park. (Getting
around Stanley Park in Vancouver BC ).You will not be disappointed! It is
THE most spectacular bike ride I've ever been on. The ocean views are
spectacular!
We recommend Sanafir Restaurant (very lively; multinational cuisines), Jules (cozy; French
bistro) and RainCity Grill (On the pricey side, but worth it) for dinner. They
were all excellent restaurants within walking distance from the hotel.
There is a great little Mediterranean place Scoozis for breakfast or lunch and
now I see they are serving Dinner at the corner of Howe and Hastings. Super
friendly with real homemade food !

Regarding Vancouver restaurants, recommend
Cardero's ,
Vij's and
Chambar . All were great.
Location is not bad for the new traveler to Vancouver, with a visit to
Gastown and
North Vancouver via the
Seabus Terminal both in short walking distances.
Located close to the
Waterfront Skytrain Station
you can take the sea bus across Burrard inlet to
Seabus Terminal in North Vancouver
to visit some of Vancouver's biggest
Attractions
.
